Best replacement choice for the fascinate?

I tried very hard to excuse all the problems my Fascinate has had, but last night was the last straw. It turned itself off and refuses to come back on, and verizon says that the insurance company will probably find me at fault since the water indicator had changed (which pisses me off as a side note because that phone has NOT been near water or steam or anything like that, and is one that I only received 5 weeks ago as a replacement for one that did get taken out by the ocean). Anyway, I refuse to pay another $100 for a crappy phone so I'm trying to figure out a good replacement. The decision is turning out to be tough because for every good review out there on a phone, there are 10 more bad. And the Fascinate has an overall good review!! So does anyone have experience going from the Fascinate to another phone? I love most things about the Fascinate other than all the glitches we all know about...but the screen is fabulous as is the camera...

If you keep on pocket or pants pockets, moisture will introduce into the phone. The body heat off your body does that. Ever since I installed ED05 this phone has been a pleasure for me.

I did give cyanogen a try but did not like how the music sounded on my 3.5 buds. Also was dropping calls on me. As stated ED05 has giving me a very functional reliable phone and I find no reason other than speed to change it. Reliability is important to me. I just wish Samsung would have come up with this fix a lot sooner. Thanks.

pandora on hq sounds pretty great with my 7.99 clip on buds.

I have had one undead call so far, but thats it.

Are those the Sony ear buds, cause that is exactly how much I paid for mine and they sound great. I also remember that the sound coming out of my Fasinate using the CM7 was not that loud, have they fixed that? Pandora is just one of my favorite apps besides shazam!

Amazon.com: Sony MDR-J10 h.ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Black): Electronics

there is still some lingering call volume weirdness, but my music is plenty loud.

This weekend I tried to resist the temptation of messing around with my Fasicinate because its working fine with update ED05 but I could not resist. After backing up with Titanium I went and installed "PWGB" from this site: [ROM][i500][09/01][EH09][ODIN][2.3.4] PWGB v2.0b3 TW-Based ROM - xda-developers

And I must say I am very impressed with it, its snappy as hell and no drop calls or low sound coming out it. Looks like a keeper.
