Root [ROM] Sensei-Mod-602-GB-v3 by Mobile_Sensei

this rom is very fast but has a few annoyances that i could not get over (yes i am picky)
1. settings and menus are in white. i prefer black.
2. don't like the green dialer.
3. lock screen tabs have a blur leftover when you click on them.

I'm not real fond of the green dialer either. I wished we could change it to blue of silver. I am running the R2D2 and a green dialer looks a little funky :D

R2D2 changes the lock screen, which looks cool. Have you tried different themes?

Nice. Green is fine with me as long as I can keep the scheme integrated. Like the Envy wallpaper. Haven't noticed anything squirrelly yet. Fast rom and battery running like a champ though haven't calibrated it yet. Those are the things I wanted to improve upon from stock. I think this will hold me nicely till Nexus, et. al. gets sorted out in the next couple of months.

i have found a few things that seem weird on this thing. Is it me or is this really not right. When i click on my handcent icon it takes me directly to the text convo of the last person i sent a text to instead of taking me to the conversation list....i don't remember it doing that before. That is annoying. I have noticed some delays too when i am interacting with the screen. ...man i really hate to say it but it looks like i may be going back to CM7.

5 hours on cm7? how do you manage that? are you watching videos all the time? browsing the web constantly?

if your only getting 5 hours on cm7 its because you rarely let your screen go to sleep, of course it will drain your battery.

and if the phone was in an idle state for 5 hours, then you have an app running thats constantly updating data somehow

I dont know what it was but I stuck with it for a while and it was only light use, went to DarkslideX and had no battery issues and none on this ROM. I tried all the battery apps to get it better it just never worked.

Loved Apex. Loving this ROM more on day 2. Battery life is noticeably better.

this rom was too rough for me. Im now on CM7 GB. Good so far.

also just fyi while using handcent on CM7 if i tap the icon it takes me to the convo list not the last message of the last person i sent a text to. SSM .602v3 did that and it was super annoying.

Anyone else notice after the phone has been asleep for awhile (dark screen) that when you wake it up, it takes a few moments before the desktop becomes responsive? Or is that just me and some bug. I'm figuring that this may be occuring because the the undervolt/battery saver feature in the boot script.

Thanks.....glad someone verified it was an issue particular to me. So, I changed my launcher from ADW EX to GO EX, killed a bookmark widget with thumbnails, and turned USB debugging back on. One of those things fixed my problem. I'll sort it out later.

BTW, thumbs down on launcher2 as default launcher. Not scrollable as far as I can tell. Pretty much a necessity for me.
