So.. what's wrong with this phone?

Just picked this up on Friday. After charging for the first time I barely got 22 hours of use. So far the phone has not had any reception problems like some others on this forum have mentioned.

I would like to point out that the only thing that I find wrong so far is the visual voicemail feature. If you call your voicemail and check your messages when you return to the main screen the visual voicemail icon still shows that you have messages that you have not listened to and this is rather annoying.

One more thing, I installed juice defender and juice plotter and used the default settings and was able to get more than 24 hours without charging. I am still checking it out to see how much juice I can squeeze out of this phone. Will post more results later.

Thank you everyone for your posts.:)

My biggest issue is reception! Coming from Touch Pro/Touch Pro 2, I roam randomly in places I always had 5 bars on HTC. I travel a lot, and use same routes I used for years. Now my phone randomly informs me my cell/data service is unavailable.

I know voice roaming is included in my everything data plan, but I am not sure if data roaming id free as well. It is quite annoying as Google maps nav randomly shuts down if Sprint is unavailable.

Still considering Moto Photon, as I am within 2 weeks period.

Just my 2 cents.

I too have noticed the same issue. My home never had issues with my EVO but with the S2 I intermittently get the roaming warning. Notice also if you hold the phone a certain way it affects wifi reception - try it. Might be an antenna issue.

Otherwise still a great phone! :D
