Boots, without any logo's or animations !! Help

Hi

My daughters GT540 wouldn't boot.
Started to with the LG logo's and anim etc.. The would stop.

I was advised to run KDZ, which failed the first time with:
R&D Test Tools Log File]

22:07:15 : Launching SW update
22:07:15 : Unpacking KDZ
22:07:24 : KDZ file extraced
22:07:31 : Files were extracted.
22:07:31 : LGMobileDL Load.
22:07:31 : Port = -1
22:07:31 : Connecting to phone
22:07:41 : Check Phone mode = 1
22:07:59 : Phone type check.......
22:08:03 : LGMobileDL.DLL Loading....
22:08:03 : _SetAuthMark Fail
22:08:03 : AuthMark

Ive just bought one of these second hand, and got the same problem. When powering up/down it never shows the logo or sounds.
When you power on, sometimes it vibrates once, Then you just have to wait a minute or so while the phone boots (not that you can tell its booting other than the screen goes ever so slightly lighter than black), i then press the power button again for the screen to light up to slide unlock.

Thought i had bought a faulty phone, but as the only thing missing is the logo, im not terribly bothered. The phone is just slow at booting up which i expect it to be anyway.

this will fix; taken from another forum:

3 ) put off you sd card and make hard reset your gt 540
4) put phone in download mode and open program KDZ
5) in conection optiom choose " cs_emergency " - it is the most savest mode for dead and worked phones
6) connect your phone to pc via usb cable and put in program v20a_00.kdz file ( this is french good rom )
6.2 flash second flash file V20B_00.kdz ( with fastboot )
7 ) wait on 100 % end of flashing
8) repeat the same proccess for out.kdz file
