Root Home and Search Button Fault?

Yes its7 now. But I meant 6 apps +5days +5days = 8 apps.
Anyway if the fault returned, what happens if you uninstall that last app?

.. Ok, I un-installed the last app (Full Screen Caller ID), and it has not returned for almost 2 days... Shall we leave it a little longer, or continue where we left off?

I think leave the application uninstalled for 5 days in total, then if it hasnt come back, re-install that application again

I guess so. It certainly seems indicative that that particular application is causing the fault. I would suggest you can now do whatever you want with the phone. Its been a long slog, but worth it in the end.

.. Definitely... I don't even think I would of been able to get it fixed if it was a hardware issue. I do still have a little feeling that the issue will return despite avoiding that one app... JUST IN CASE it does, I will get back to u.. If that's ok with u? Also thanku for all your help. I truly appreciate it.

.. Sorry, I know this is off topic again, but I just thought it'd be easier to keep all the phone issues in one thread. The button issue has COMPLETELY vanished. But for some reason, the phones been pretty slow lately, lagging and crashing, etc. I downloaded a task manager, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I recently ran out of space, and am waiting to partition my SD card... Could it just be due to the low memory?
