Hi, everyone! The purpose of creating this thread is to help you guyz on various issues regarding Samsung Galaxy Pop/Mini GTS5570 smartphone. There is no restriction of what type of questions you can ask, but should be related to Samsung Galaxy Mini smartphone.

I created this thread as a place for discussion on gts5570 where we ask questions and answer them (esp. those for which we can't start a new thread). All are requested to help each other by providing the best reply to anyone's query...

You can have discussions, chat with each other or share new ideas you get relating to Samsung Galaxy Pop and you should not discuss anything off topic here :mad:

But, install Like normal apk file.
It will download game data to sdcard and when it is done play the game.

Btw, Which game do you want to play?

i installed assasins creed HD, he downloaded gamedata and when started the screen was 10x bigger than my phones screen

.. Since I don't play games (I lack the time and I play only few choosen one), I don't know what they are talking about...... Smart phone is not just about gaming (and i think pc is much better for gaming, wide screen and varieties of keys to use)......

Yea, I knew about the emanoN rom (how can one keep such difficult name)

but didn't have idea about vanilla :eek:

(who even cares, when we have cm7)

Also is MiniModX for galaxy pop/mini, I thought it was for some other (Mini X or something like that...) phone.

is there much difference between the stock rom and these custom ones?
cause i used andro-id and it turned out to be no good except it was pre rooted.

and another question, what happens if i flash a custom rom over a different stock rom? in the sense like i have cm7 which is meant to be flashed over gingerbread, wt happens if i flash it over froyo?

yea, you are right. While other roms have not much difference except pre-rooted, oc and some extra stuffs, CM7 is different from them. It has everything of interest including it's UI, settings and overall performance. CM7 is worth giving a look... Try it.

I have tried cm7....
I didnt find it much user friendly nd if i overcloked it,it would crash....and without oc,it turns out to b very slow

and another question, what happens if i flash a custom rom over a different stock rom? in the sense like i have cm7 which is meant to be flashed over gingerbread, wt happens if i flash it over froyo? even with emoanoN ROM, it says 2.3 european version. what happens if i flash it over 2.3 asian version?

has anyone used minimod x or emanoN ??

Haven't tested it but since these custom roms are based on gignerbead 2.3.4 version you must flash them only on such devices. Failing to meet the condition might lead to hard or soft broken device...

If you still want to try out the risk go ahead but it is discouraged to do so...

Also, I couldn't flash cm7 over emoanN rom...

I've tried emanoN rom, but it has got nothing to offer, just a simple custom rom, pre-root and OC with Master CPU app. :eek:

Please anyone create a zip package or provide links of Samsung apps for galaxy mini which are pre-installed e.g. music player, f.m. radio, voice Rec, camera, quick office pro, Dialer, contacts, task manager, and all etc. also their services id possible (except Android system apps)
Coz I can't take risk to root gingerbread for the apps which I need on CM7

Try with titanium backup.

Try with titanium backup.

There is no risk(little risk) in rooting gingerbread. You can use oneclick SUper One Click's Gingerbreak method or flash the zip file in the article below to root your phone. Then you can backup with titanum pro.

No, upgrading wont have negative effect... Instead it boots features and performance...
