Phone history of potential Vigor buyers

I am eligible for an early upgrade and have been for awhile. I love my Incredible, have had it since launch and it has been good to me, but I am ready for a phone with a bigger screen. I was thinking about the Droid Bionic, but after coming to the forum to check on that, I found this phone and have decided this is the one that I want. My DH can have my Incredible if he chooses until a 4G Iphone (which is what he wants) is released!

Audiovox brain cooker (old phone that got very hot during calls)
Qualcomm phone (the thick one that was shaped roughly like a 1/4 moon)
Kyocera candy bar phone
Treo 650
Treo 700p
Motorola Q something-or-other with an M for multimedia (windows mobile)
Blackberry Storm (worst phone I ever owned)
Samsung candy-bar style windows mobile phone (ate batteries, crashed a lot, but better than my Storm or Q)
Droid Incredible (now son has this one)
HTC Thunderbolt (wife gets this one, replacing her "Storm-awful" Moto Droid 2)
next up: Vigor

For me it's both. My contract isn't actually up till Feb 2012 but I'm eligible for an early upgrade now. I'm still not 100% sold on this one but if I had to jump from my beloved DInc now it would be for the Vigor cause it's HTC's newest. (and I don't count that purple abomination they just released either)

But it's made especially for women! Don't you know that things like LTE, HD screens, and dual core are icky to women? (sarcasm):D

Honestly it seems like most PR people are still livin in the 50s. Besides, if women really want a purple phone, they can always slap a case on it.

I did laugh when I realized they were marketing towards women with that thing. What the think tanks don't seem to realize is that many of us have gotten to the point where a color and a charm aren't going to sell the phone unless it has a lot more under the hood.

ywea but that phone is bad ass! sense 3.5 is the sh*t on it!! 3.7 screen looks fantastic for real, plus i'm color blind so i couldnt even tell it was purple... my daughter fell in love with it!

You know what made me look away... The camera. Unless I read the specs wrong, I'm not downgrading from my incredible camera. (pun intended)

My Phones:
Samsung SCH-A670
Motorola Razr Maxx Ve (such an underrated phone - Loved it. Kicked the regular Razr's ass. Nobody even knew it was a Razr)
LG Envy Touch (Notice a trend.... never the same manufacturer twice
HTC Droid Incredible
HTC Thunderbolt (I Think we have a manufacturer!)
HTC Vigor? (Depends on Nexus Prime specs vs Vigor, even though the idea of a Samsung smartphone kills me)

I've had a cell phone since 2000 (only ever had Verizon). I forget the first three phone manufacturers that I had, but the first two were pre-paid phones and the third was a flip phone. My next phone was a color one from Samsung, but I forget the model, then I got my RAZR (possibly my favorite phone). Then I got the LG Voyager, which I think was the worst phone I ever had, finally got the Droid 1. Now I'm waiting for reviews between the Vigor, Nexus & Droid RAZR, but leaning toward the Vigor.

Some Nokia (back in about 2000)

LG flip phone (the first color screen flip phone-or so the guy told us)

Several Samsung flip phones

Moto slvr (piece of crap)

LG chocolate (stolen from my sister when I couldn't handle the failures of my slvr anymore but couldn't upgrade yet)

Bb storm (used for about six months before I wanted to throw it out the window every day)

HTC incredible (used my dads upgrade one year after getting my storm so I had a phone that actually functioned)

(Anxiously waiting on) HTC vigor (and drooling over my husband's new bionic which puts my poor little well loved incredible to shame)
