Help When I connect to the Facebook app it adds all my Facebook contacts to 'Phone'

I just got my Sensation and when I connected to the Facebook app it added all my contacts with phone numbers on Facebook to my phone contacts. When I press 'Phone' on the bottom in the menu it shows all my Facebook phone contacts.. I don't want them there.. I don't want them in my phone book all together. How do I get it so when I press 'Phone' it just shows my actual phone contacts and not social media contacts?

I tried going to People > View, and I unchecked HTC Sense, Facebook and Twitter.. but they still show up... no idea why.

I seem to recall that when you first set up facebook on the phone, you get to choose what to synchronise. Maybe it is worth deleting facebook and setting it up again only this time making sure that contacts are not set to synchronise?

To stop the sync go to Settings>Accounts & Settings>Facebook>Uncheck selected Sync Contacts or remove
Problem being though is that you have already done a sync...I dont know why after unchecking FB in the People app you still see them...have you tried a reboot?

Unchecking it won't sync them from then on but if it's already sync'd once they'll stay there unless removed manually
