I know you said that you couldnt judge battery life because you had little time with it, but Im assuming you were playing around with it pretty decently, so did you notice the battery have any significant drop as a result of you messing around with it?

Youve got me even more excited for this! :D

Do we have any time frame references from other phones when they were in QA to release?

usually from 3 weeks to 7 weeks. i used to test phones back in the day (lg 3200, Motorola v710, Audiovox 9900) so i knew these things were right around the corner from releasing, the battery didnt have the nice percent meter like my rooted bolt so it didnt move with the screen lit the entire time from when i took its battery out. Start up time was about the same as my rooted bolt, havent run factory in so long. so who knows.

You mentioned the rubberized back...how did the phone feel in your hand compared to say the TB or Inc (obviously bigger than the latter)...form factor, construction, sturdiness, etc.

In reality, not bringing out the Vigor before the Prime would be a mistake for HTC. There are enough people out there that are ready to jump on the first one released that when the Vigor is finally released sales will be down.

I for one will not wait for the Vigor if the Prime comes out and is all it's supposed to be.

Have the Beats Devices been coming with a set of Beats headphones?

If the Vigor is a Beats Device:
Do you think it will come with a set?
Would you want a set to come with it?
If it comes with Beats Headphones could we see a $300+ price tag?

Knowing VZW, not likely. But it may happen to up the ante on the competition (Prime), so who knows. I couldn't care less about them, but I'm sure plenty of folks would like them if they perform as advertised. 300+ would definitely be in the realm if included.

What I hope is included is the camera upgrade they talked about for Sensation:

Capture the moment

The HTC Sensation XL boasts an 8MP camera, featuring a f/2.2, 28mm wide-angle lens with BSI sensor to fit more of the scene into every shot and for better low-light performance. In video mode, the HTC Sensation XL enables customers to record a perfect moment with stunning clarity and incredible stereo sound – perfect for sharing on YouTube, Facebook or a TV.

This is probably why patch was so impressed with the Vigor camera he played with...

I'm so disappointed that its not looking like the vigor is getting released any time soon

what made you think it isn't getting released any time soon?

usually from 3 weeks to 7 weeks.

So was this the first week of testing then? Or was it further along?
this was week 2 of testing

this sure sounds like the Oct 20th release date.

Two weeks from today? I know that is what rumors/leaks have said, I just don't see the pressure to get it out now that Iphone 5 is a non-player. Plus, there just doesn't seem to have been enough "leaked" info for it to be released in 2 weeks. More likely Nov 3...yes, you heard it here first.

Just a gut feeling on my part...hope it is indigestion :D

Patch-

A couple questions about the back of the phone. Was it easy to remove? On my Incredible (and my wifes incredible 2), I can remove it with ease. In my limited time with the Thunderbolt, I thought the back was extrememly difficult to remove. I ended up using a screwdriver to open it. How does it compare to both of those?

The 20 month mark for Incredible users is December 29, 2011. If this thing is to be spun as Incredible HD . . . just saying.

I don't believe it will be that late. I think you will see this phone and the Prime within days of each other.

To clarify your statement about 12/29. That would be the date for NE2. I can upgrade now at 2 year contract price and have been able to for months now. Also, I'm eligible for my NE2 $30 credit on 12/28. I got my incredible a day early in the mail. I'm sure this happened for lots of people and we're splitting hairs.

Who is this doctor with beats, and why must I pay for his probably crappy ass headphones, when I dont wear headphones or ear buds? WHy cant they just sell it as a singular item with charger as opposed to having to pay for some pos subsidized crappy head phones by some doc? If I WANTED headphones, I would go and buy good ones such as bose, not some pos that no one has ever heard of, and now I have to pay extra because of them to get the phone I want.

Rant off
