There is no ETA currently. HTC has to do the patches then test it out and send it to VZW. VZW will then test it out also, after their tests if they feel it is ok to release they will begin pushing it again, if they have any issues with it they send it back to HTC and the process starts over.

So it could be January? If I had just stuck with the tbolt. Well, I'm saving my money and getting a prime or vigor by January anyway. I'm just so angry I missed the boat by 2 days. I don't care about a voicemail bug, I hardly ever even use it anyway. I would be completely happy with it not working, but I'm barred from having Gb now. Verizon is such a pain sometimes.

It is easy.

Download the file and check the MD5sum to make sure you have the right file.

Put it on the root of your SD card and make sure it is named PG05IMG.zip (that is a zero not an O)

Power the phone off and then hold volume down and the power button until you are on a white screen, this screen is called "hboot" it will scan your SD card and fiind the zip then ask if you want to update, press volume up to update, let it do it's thing and when it is done press the power button to reboot.

just make sure youre installing the most recent(2.11.605.3) as that was what they pushed, and if you install an older leak, you will prolly not recieve the new OTA when its pushed.

best way to ensure youll be able to get the newest OTA is to stay on mr2(1.70.605.0)

in a worse case,if you install a GB leak and never OTA,youll just have to install another RUU when its released for the OTA :)

also,be careful flashing RUUs. flashing files in hboot is one of the best potentials users have to eff up their device,as a bad flash can do anything from simply fail,to not boot,to become a brick.

make sure you verify the integrity of the download by double checking the md5 sum,and make sure your phone is charged to 100% before flashing. place it gently in the middle of a table or something it wont fall off of,and spit out the battery when it hits the ground ;)
