Root Having a little difficulty getting Serendipity 7 on my phone.

My computer recognizes my phone when in mass storage and with the internal SD mounted but when I go into download mode, my PC makes a "driver did not properly load noise" and Odin3 does not show my device. I am running windows 7 64 bit. I did get a "gadget serial driver did not load" message once but I have not seen that since. Any ideas?

Well, I reinstalled the drivers and got it to work, however....it has been in download mode for over 5 minutes with a "DO NOT TURN TARGET OFF" message with no apparent progress. How long should I wait?

In the message box in the bottom left corner, do you see anything? If you are flashing GB bootloaders, it usually takes about 2-3 min max. If not, what are you flashing?

Yeah, I am trying to flash the Serendipity 7 bootloader from the instructions on the site. I am running 6.4....could that be the problem. Do I have to flash to stock first?

Hmm... well I tried it again without changing anything and it worked! Now I'm stuck trying to find the "Reorient_Kernel_1.1" file. It's supposed to be in the download package but all I see in the Reorient_Kernel_1.1.tar file is "zImage". It won't let me select it in the "PIT" section of Odin unless I re-name it zIamge.pit. Will that work?

NM: PDA...not PIT...I feel dumb now, lol
