Hi,

I recently played with some large files (over 1gb..music, videos, nav maps), transferring them on the phone using USB storage mode from my mac. I erased some of them and retransferred several times (erased by dragging to trash bin on the mac desktop). Now, my phone storage is down to 4 GB only. I have NO SD card, only flash memory 16GB included on stock phone.

I used ES file explorer and found a folder named Trashes on the phone that contains about 7Gb of files I thought I erased by going to the menu-manager-sd card analysis path from the ES file explorer. However, I cannot find a way to erase or empty this folder!

Also, it is not listed when I am in the USB mass storage mode. I cannot locate this Trashes folder any other way. Drives me crazy!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sophie

Thanks for the reply. Try Kies, but could not find the Trashes folder. Did not try rebooting.

What I did, I selected the hard drive for the phone on my mac, then went to finder and clicked to empty trash. It did so, both on my mac desktop and my phone. Still cannot figure out how to access the trash folder, but at least I know now how to erase it.

Maybe seeing or not seeing it is a function of mac vs PC hard drive mount???

Strange though that I cannot get to it from File explorer installed on the phone.

With WinMo, I was able to clean trash using both desktop app and file explorer, although I never used to be able to sync mac with WinMo.

THanks for the advices though.
