Just bought the SGS2 in Korea. However, I can not seem to find the voice talk app that is supposed to come with the phone. Can anybody tell me where it is located? I have searched in applications as well as setting-applications-manage apps-all and it is not listed. I even tried pushing the home button twice. Please help. Thanks!

u should see it in ur applications drawer, and it should work when u double tap ur home button.. looks like its not installed on ur device, are u sure its supposed to be on the device in ur region? :) thats the only thing i can think of

How do I get to the app drawer? I went into applications but didn't see it. I don't think it is region locked as I have one from Korea and a friend has one and he has it. Although, he has the M250L model and I have the S model. There is also a K model here. I am going to keep searching and also go ask to see another phone it see if it has it. Kinda disappointed as that was one of the main features of the phone.

If your at home screen and click "applications" - thats the app drawer.

Like this.

And the voice talk's symbol is a white talk bubble over a green background, should be somewhere in the first or second page of your app drawer, or just click to home button twice.

yea def not there. Hmmm. I wonder how it got left off of the software. Maybe my company took it off when they added their bloatware garbage? I dunno but kinda frustrating considering how much this phone costs.

i agree that is annoying..maybe there's a way of installing it urself, but im not sure.. u could go to settings/motion/ and check if the Double tap feature is checked on.. but if u cant find it in ur app drawer, i doubt that'll work

u could also use google voice actions, it does enough for me, i never use the voice command app that ur referring too, actually.. its probably got a few less features but does the basic job as well

I guess it isn't that big of a deal as I don't think I can tell it to open Kakao Talk and type a message using KT. But when I go to setting/motion there is no option for double tap. Haha wtf is going on Galaxy!!!!

oh i just remembered that the Double Tap setting was new in a recent firmware, KH3, i think.. so maybe thats why u dont see the double tap setting.. but u shouldve still got voice talk :D sorry about it, i have no idea wat to do

Yea I have no idea either. I am thinking that b/c it is an app that is English, maybe they left if off the Korean versions for obvious reasons? I checked ALL 3 korean models tonight at a store and NONE had the damn voice talk. Oh well

Thanks for the link I will look into it. Also, i searched but didn't find anything. Is there a difference between the GT-I9100 and the SHW-M250S models? Like a huge difference that makes one better than the other? I am trying to figure out if I should return this phone and just downgrade to a lesser android model.
