seeking note app using finger-drawn "ink"

I've tried a lot of them but finally settled on AppMemo. It gives you most of the screen for notetaking and you can easily delete or make a new note.

It only has two problems that I can see. One, if you make a note in portrait and turn the phone later to landscape, the note is not readible and two, if you export to Dropbox, you have no control over the naming of the file.

Handrite is gooood :) thanks, tcat

Harry

Handrite will take some getting used to because it captures each letter stroke separately. Although if you scribble a word fast enough, it will grab the entire scribble at once.

There is a wire notebook metaphor that is interesting and will be useful.
It will be fun to play.

More later,

I tried both of these and like apMemo best so far. ApMemo is a home page shortcut which you launch, scribble, and close. When a note reminder fires, an icon appears on the notification line until you either 'clear' it or open it from the notification list.
Not bad...

Find my comments about Handrite below.

edit: also noticed this one just got launched that looks interesting:
GO Note Widget for Android | AppBrain.com

As a widget, Go Note Widget takes part of your home screen. Like most widgets, you pick a size when you install and changing that size is troublesome later on. I'll need to make time to play with this one because I need to make room on my home pages. Actually, I'd like a better smarter home page (launcher) app, but have not found one that begs the time to make that swap.

Cheers,
