Root Liquid 3.0 Final Link Up

This rom is Titanium backup friendly. You should be able to restore most stuff within a half hour and then tweak it to your liking. Nonetheless, the rom is 65 meg and lightning quick. The battery life is ridic with smartass V2. The Liquid control panel has many more options, tweaks, and customization choices than CM7. I won't go on or try to convince you, but this thread has a lot of users that have flashed multiple roms and we all are quite impressed. That would be enough for me, but I understand your feelings too. You have a life and don't want to spend it setting up a rom.

He has a one click method to remove system apps, a color changer for all types of things, great theme support and ... well the one thing that is really keeping me here other that battery life is the speed of this. The phone is responsive as I've never seen it even when OC on CM7 to 1.4. It's worth a try, it really is worth the time.

I'm done, I won't bother you any more. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Hey, thanks. My recalcitrance does stem from all of those time trying to restore apps and data and whatnot. Usually takes me some 2-3hrs on the weekend, when I really don't have time. I think I will try to flash this later this week just to see what goodies are there for LGB users.

Are you using the stock kernel with Tiamat 1.1.4 no UV/OC option at all?

I hope you use Titanium, it really makes it easy. There was an update since he released this a couple of days ago to Tib, so make sure your versions are the same before you restore. I've seen FC with restores of a different, earlier version. 2 - 3 hours is simply too long to spend on a weekend. If you don't use Tib then just flash it and play for a while before you decide to spend the time. The settings are in the app drawer under "Liquid Settings" not in the settings -> cm settings.

I was using Imo 3.9.2 for a day or so but went back to the stock Tiamat 1.1.4 today. I just get better battery life with it, but others like Imo. I use smartass V2, and OC just a little simply because I can. I like that Tiamat has a lot more slots too. I OC to either 1.113 or 1.190 depending on how I feel. It's not much and I don't really notice a difference but I do it anyway. Go figure.

Have fun.

Are you just using the free version of titanium? If so then I suggest buying the pro key it makes restoration of apps and data so much quicker.

I'm using JRummy's new App Manager Pro. I used to go with TiBU, but AMP is quite good.

The 1-2hrs I mentioned was because I tend go through the ROM and tweak everything and some of those stuff can't be backed up.

I got one a few weeks ago. I just called and said my battery wasn't registering correctly and they sent me a new one. It was true, but the problem wasn't really the battery as it turns out. It was the phone and they sent me a new one of those too.

Tiamat 1.1.5 up for you fans. http://tiamat-dev.com/tiamat_mecha/
And there are a ton of OC slots now!

Yeah same here, what has to be going on to get a battery warranty replacement?

I just called them and told them I was getting at most 4 hours of battery life (which before I was rooted was the case, so I kind of exaggerated lol). And they asked me some stupid questions like, "are you sure you are charging your phone until it says 100%?" haha...then they said they'll ship me a replacement and it should be here on friday :)...so I guess all that has to be wrong with it is the battery life being bad ha

Finally got around to flashing this last night. Thanks to yeahha for flashing this to answer a question for me yesterday on Twitter.

My question to anyone using the MIUI battery bar, are you experiencing status bar ghosting? For those who aren't familiar with ghosting an example would be open your notifications and after closing it you can still see a slight hint of the full notification date on the status bar. I'm having a lot that, and not just with notifications. Every icon that moves or changes in my status bar ghosts for 25-30 seconds afterwards.

Also, I flashed 3.0 final over my backup of 3.0 and I got status bar FC's everywhere. Tried numerous time, still the same. Before doing a full wipe I decided to flash it over my CM7.1.1 backup I had just made. It took a while to boot, but I've had no issues whatsoever. Very strange to say the least

I haven't noticed anything personally. I will try some stuff out to see if I can replicate the ghosting.

Nothing. I did a full wipe prior to the flash including format /system even tho the rom has the script built in

Huh, really? It seems foolish to think that it's because I didn't do a full wipe, but I guess anything's possible. Maybe I'll try a full wipe later tonight. I think it was Spring the last time I did one anyways
