Returning my Bionic to go back to Incredible

I couldn't agree more. That's why i've been taking extra special care of my Inc because if it ever breaks, I will be done with smartphones unless someone makes one that is smaller than the current crop of phones. I absolutely hate all of the new phones because of their size.

Agreed, but lucky for us with all these supposedly better phones coming out the price for a used Incredible in good condition will be below $100. If I ever have an issue with my Inc I'll have no problem hitting use ebay and criagslist even with an available upgrade, there is just nothing that catches my eye as significantly better than what we're working with now... ya feel me??

So I am not under contract with Verizon so I was checking out the Sprint site. They have an HTC Evo Shift 4G.. 3.6" screen. I haven't seen reviews on this phone, but I wonder if Verizon will get something like this. Maybe for me it's worth checking out. The plan at Sprint is unlimited everything and the Verizon plan is limited text, limited talk, unlimited data. Both are about the same price plans give or take a couple bucks..

Well I took the plunge and upgraded to the bionic. And so far I love it. It is so refreshing to see my screen in full sunlight. I thought the larger size might be an issue for me but it fits my hand just fine. Its very snappy and for now I am happy with the Moto launcher. I'm sure I will mod it later on. The only concern I have right now is battery life...so much so that I ordered the extended battery. Now to just find a rugged case that will fit with that battery. >.<

I know this phone is not for everyone and I wish you all luck finding a phone to fit you needs. :)

Cool... Glad your happy with it. Personally if I am going to get a 4.3 inch screen I will at least wait till the HTC Vigor comes out. Just partial to HTC, and have never really been crazzy about any morotorla products... But again, that is just me. Not even saying I would get the HTC, just saying I would wait till it came out to have something to compare the Bionic to.

I, too, haven't seen anything compelling to use my upgrade on. I've tripped out my Droid until it had digitizer issues. I'm doing the same for my Incredible. I've a handful of batteries, a mobile battery charger, and bluetooth. I like the look, and feel of the Incredible, and will likely purchase a backup one, if I feel the need. I think the phone has plateaued since loading my favorite daily ROMwise (Gingerbread Deck for the Incredible).

I was talking to a friend over the weekend and he was saying that he wanted to go to the Bionic from his Incredible and was going to sell his Incredible to partially finance the Bionic. Because of having read such mixed reviews on here about it I convinced him to wait on the selling. He bought the phone yesterday and already emailed to thank me for the advice to wait - he is returning it this week because he misses the smoothness of his Incredible.
Thanks for the info!

Not that this is the forum to start an Apple discussion, but just in case I did see some indicating they were going to wait and see even what the iPhone 5 is all about. Including me. Well ios5, faster processor, and nicer camera (which the incredible already has) and it is branded the iPhone 4S... Apple stock is dropping fast. Given no other phone is interesting me right now, I think I will just keep my eye out for a good deal on an Inc2...

Seriously, the Incredible is an outstanding device. Compared to any other in it's peer group (size and so forth) it is still a top notch device after 2 years. There are bigger screen devices of course running on 4G that are faster, but it's not like the Incredible on 3G is a dog, right? I'm approaching my upgrade window, but I can't really find a good reason to switch. I'm hooked.

you, and I both. I only got my Incredible months ago, and I think - in the back of my mind - I wanted the Incredible on release day: perfect combination of size, and function. I know there was the Droid X, but something about the form factor screamed sleek to my ears, my kind of phone :)
