Help Computer Speaker Interference

I have a Logitech Z313 connected to my laptop and I like keeping my Bionic close. Periodically, my speakers would emit a static noise due to the interference of my Bionic. The only way to prevent it is to keep my Bionic away from my speakers (2ft+).

Is this caused by the 3G, 4G, voice, or a specific frequency?
Has anyone else encounter this with the Bionic on these or different speakers?
Is this a well known issue with smartphones/Bionics?
Any way to prevent this with my Bionic close to the speakers? (Tin foil deflector shield with the opening away from my speakers?)

My speakers started making static noises as well and since they were old I thought they were bad- bought some new ones and same thing- happened when I put Bionic within a few feet- moved it farther away and stopped.

My old Nokia's way back in the day would effect my speakers, but none of my newer smart phones ever did this all the way up to my Droid X. However now with my Bionic that static interference is back. Very strange. Maybe it's the 4G radio?

Same here. I have a portable speaker unit that I plug my Bionic into and I have to move it around to stop the static (usually to the side of the speakers or lay my Bionic flat). I will hook an extension cord onto it and try it again. I thought I had a bad cable on my speakers until I saw this thread.

It's the LTE radio. If you switch to 3G or wifi, it won't do it.

My altec lansings (3 way self powered system) don't emit any noises when 4G is active on my Bionic, even if I set the Bionic flush against either of the speakers. Not sure why 4G is the culprit in your case.

It's the dreaded GSM buzz that would annoy everyone on a conference call whenever someone with a GSM phone got too close to a speakerphone. It doesn't do it on every speaker. I don't have a Bionic but I noticed it pretty quickly on my Tbolt when it was near my boombox. It does it every time so I just switch to 3G or wifi.

my work speakers which I am still using would emit a noise when i used an old idling phone that was neither 3g or 4g. It would do it every so often. Every time someone was calling me my speakers would emit a noise indicating that there was a call coming in. It go to the point that whenever I heard the noise I knew my phone was about to ring lol. Oddly enough it doesn't do that with my Bionic.

My Bionic should be on my Wifi when Im home. The 4G/3G icon turns white.

I get the same static through my speakers if they are on and my phone is sending or receiving data.

Ever since we got 4g phones (razrs and nexus) we have been getting very bad noise on all our computer speakers. Our speakers are kind of cheap so Im thinking about upgrading our office computers speakers. I have tried 3 different speaker sets and all are noisy. Im looking at cyber acoustics CA-3602

Any one have any suggestions?

Had the same issue on my Droid X (which was only 3G) with my new Dell Latitude E6420 workstation, and know it's become worse with my new Droid RAZR Maxx with 4G LTE. I also am using older self-powered Sony speakers plugged into my "headphone jack".

I thought it may have something to do with plugging my speakers into the headphone jack - but maybe not. Don't hear any feedback when just using the Laptop built-in speaker.
