VZW Unlimited Data

Hi,

I have an upgrade to use, and have had one since January. But, no one bothered to tell me when I was in the store numerous times (problems with brother's phone) and even when asking me if I wanted to use my upgrade, that their unlimited data plans are going away.

I want to get the Nexus Prime, but I don't want a brick because I blow through 2GB in a week.

Do you know of any way that I can still get VZW to let me have unlimited data (or do you for see them bringing unlimited data back)?

If not, what phones are similar on Sprint that are now/are going to be released?

To answer your question: no. You can not be grandfathered or given truly unlimited since you do not have unlimited to begin with. You may get lucky by having someone give you the old unlimited plan at verizon. If you have unlimited already you have nothing to worry about.

Hmm. I will be having to ask really nicely to see if I can coerce them to give the old unlimited plan.

I have two additional questions for you or anyone...
- If I use an upgrade on a phone and return it within 30 days (standard return period). Do I get that upgrade back?
- What phones are similar to the Nexus Prime on Sprint that will be coming/are out already?

I can only answer you first question as I don't know much about sprint, but the turn period for Verizon is now 14 days with a $35 restocking few I believe, but if you do choose to return, you do get the upgrade back

What those two guys said. If you already have an unlimited data plan, you'll always have it. It's more or less got new smartphone / Verizon customers.

I was a previous Centennial Wireless customer that Verizon took over in my area. I got grandfathered in with 20$ a month unlimited data, and yes I got that in writing, they also sent me hTC Droid Incredible 2 for absolutely free to replace my gsm hTC wildfire that I had bought new with Centennial for less than 6 months ago. It all went down July 31st, I activated my dinc2 and have been loving it since the wildfire only had a 528 processor on an Edge network, to me, the dinc2 is 4g lol :)
