I like plain and simple. Rocking fireflies live wallpaper so the lights go dim to bright and move around like seeds of life. I dig it, little impact to the battery.

Those are Dreamlyfe icons. He has an open PSD that I made the HTC EVO one.

Launcher Pro is (To me) much better than Go Launcher.

I changed mine up once again, I'll probably leave it like this for awhile, I dig it.

I installed Go Launcher first and really liked it. I tried Launcher Pro for a little while but didn't like it as much, probably because some of the effects I used in Go Launcher did not have equivalents in Launcher Pro. I think Go Launcher has good potential with the amount/quality of widgets and apps, the frequency of updates and the improvements in speed and stability. They just don't have a good selection of themes yet, and seem to be mostly overrun with "cute" or "cartoony" themes (I guess that kind of stuff is popular in Asia where the developers are from). But they have released a theme builder application that runs on Windows with Java that makes theme building pretty easy, plus for a savvy person themes built with it can be tweaked. So hopefully as the install base grows we'll get more variety of themes from the community; more movie, television, hobby, comic, etc. stuff. I made my own theme and have been using it for a straight month and a half, except for the week I used the iPhone theme (right after Steve Jobs' death).

I was a Palm Pre user for 2 years and LOVED it, but with HP's recent debacle with webOS and Palm's dissolving I had to switch to Android. I made this theme a) to practice making my own Go Launcher theme and b) as a tribute to a mobile OS that could have been the best out there if not for lack of resources and bad hardware.

The "Just Type" area is an actual widget that when tapped goes to the stock Google Search app. I made it using images and fonts from webOS and Desktop VisualizeR. The app drawer uses the same colors and backgrounds as the webOS app launcher.

The folder dropdown uses the Just Type screen background and text box from webOS 2.0.

Next I think I'm going to make a Superman theme and a Batman theme. Also, I think I'm going to see if I can port over some Launcher Pro themes as well.

Great, glad you enjoy it, yep there are many options with this app, which is why I don't get bored with it, you can also change the background, with a different image, well at least the paid version done, not sure if the free version allows you to do so.

I set mine up such that the bottom half of all 3 of my homescreens are full, and the top halves are empty, so since the live wallpaper is static and the bottom parts are dynamic, it looks like only the bottom half rotates, very cool effect.

Thanks for the tip, I'm liking this right now
