I just realized that I accidentally posted this in another phone forum, but meant it to be posted here in the Infuse 4G forum. I couldn't figure out how to delete it or transfer it to here, so I'll re-post:

I just ordered this 2200 mAh battery from China for about $6.50 on eBay (free shipping). This seems too good to be true for the value and the power. I will post a review once I get several uses out of it. This battery is the same size as the stock, so no extended backing is needed.

i am old enough, and have learned the hard way, when something is too good to be true, guess what, it is too good to be true.

i purchased an extended battery for my captivate that was fantastic from a reputable company, siedio.

they don't seem to have extended batteries for the at&t infuse or at&t galaxy s 2 yet, but they should , i bet, as these are relatively new phones. no, seidio is not cheap, but i have found you usually get what you pay for, and pay for what you get, usually, in life.

I just found this on ebay as well and purchased one myself. It will take a while to get to me but when it does I'll let you know how mine works as well. At the moment I'm using three spare batteries. ( one in the phone, one I carry around in my wallet, the other at home in the battery charger, and the cycle continues)

Where do you get these chargers that charge batteries without the phone?

Well, after a couple of weeks of using this battery, I can give it a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5. It gets me through the day with moderate use, but if you are a heavy user, this will need re-charging later in the day. I would classify this more in the range of a 1600 mAh battery. It is a great back-up battery, and again it is certainly worth the $6.00, but it is definitely NOT a 2200 mAh battery.

I heard modding some files is needed for full potential.

I had two of the inexpensive battery chargers from eBay that came with batteries. They worked for awhile, and then stopped. They wouldn't recognize that the battey wasn't full. The batteries seemed to be Ok.

Then, I got the Samsung replacement battery and charger from Amazon. They both work well. My solution to the battery issue is to carry extra batteries with me. I use a case that comes on and off quickly. Then, I just swap batteries when needed, and recharge the used batteries when I get home with the Samsung battery charger.
