Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

But I have one noticeable problem that I saw right away, hopefully it's not something that I missed... I can't adjust Frequency in Performance settings. This is what it looks like on both Min and Max:

First time installing this this ROM, i did a full factory reset/system and cache format and also dalvik cache format.
I must be missing something here. Thanks in advance

That's because this is not overclock-able

Has anyone noticed that (headphones) media volume is lower on this than stock, or have I have I been progressively going deaf? My only (quite minor) complaint thus far: turned it to full volume and didn't get nearly the volume I had at 75% as before. Other than that bit of fluff, I'm so happy with CM7 after a day that I can't imagine going back to MIUI.

Actually for me it's the opposite. The stock volume for me was really low and with DSP manager on CM7 its now really loud.

idk i play my music through two headphones and a set of earphones and they vary in loudness for me. might be your headphones try another pair if you have any. one idea to try is taking your phone and recording the audio from the phone while its on stock and then record while its on cm7. and determine if there is a audio loss.:thinking:im going to try that now.

Actually, I think the recording volume is much improved, compared two different voice memos and not nearly as much feeback on the new one, either.
Checked with my good studio headphones and have probably loss one percent hearing via 311, so the earbuds died a good death. :)

So...am I the only one with the Market App not showing up anymore? After loading BOTH vA.08 & vB.01 (and that's coming from my stock ROM Nandroid backup first) the Market App no longer shows up. I've tried wipe/factory reset and the usual suspect fixers. I've tried loading various versions of the Market app via the SD card but open opening, they all crash and refuse to open. I do see a "Market Apps Installer" with the CM logo, 15kb, in the "Manageme applications" but that's about it.

Any ideas on wtf is going on? Lol

You need to flash gapps from page one...otherwisemarket won't show. Make sure you pick the first gaps...I had the same problem before and someone pointed it out.

No. I noticed that in vA.08 & vB.01 I no longer got the initial "Welcome Setup" process, and at the end of that was when I was getting the option to flash the GApps. That was happening in an earlier version, but a quick factory reset/cache wipe fixed that and prompted the welcome setup to creep up. Any other ways to flash em? Or at least Market? TIA! =)

Just download them from the front page and flash them thru recovery, but flash the first ones, cuz the 2nd one didnt work for me.

Hmmm...perhaps I blew the headphones. Again. :)
i just checked the audio and see for your self

stock is less volume than cm7 as you can see here. so cm7 is actually louder. try another pair of headphones. it might be the headphones.

Hi everybody! I've run into a problem. I was running vA.08 with GAPPS and decided to update to vB.01. I formatted /system in Clockwork and flashed vB.01. It booted up fine and functions great, but my Google account has become disconnected.

I've tried to set up my Google account through the market, where a window prompts me to add an account to the device. I hit "yes," which leads me right back to the homescreen, with no Google account connected.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I think Tickerguy said if you format /system then you have to reflash GAPPS as well. It will get rid of all system files including GAPPS when you format /system.

Flash the file through the recovery?

WOW...I just understood what was meant by flashing through recovery... I feel silly.

Wasn't trying to be stubborn, just didn't quite understand that flashing the actual .ZIP was enough. I thought I had to load each individual .apk in the .ZIP on its own ;)

Also just found the magic "Reply with Quote" button; will help for better context :p
