Yes. You're coming from a completely different ROM.

Ok nevermind, it doesn't work perfectly lol. The soft keys randomly flash and the backlight flashes, but it's black. I didn't really notice it until earlier today though.

isaac, i keep trying to log in to mitalk and it seems i forgot my password. every time i put in my email, phone number or user name it says "mismatch" any idea whats wrong..?

Hmm, my 3G speed tests are half as good as they were on the previous build. And 3G turbo charger cuts that in half again.

I have to admit, before I found this thread I knew nothing about MIUI and this thread had me waiting anxiously for the 10/20 release. I was running TickerGuy's CM7 port that you were/are working on and I liked it, it was buggy and even the latest release caused my phone to reboot about once every 10 minutes or less but it was still nice. This however is just...beautiful! It feels like a completely different phone, a much better phone. I haven't had any random reboots yet!

So thank you Isaac, I tip my hat to you. Keep up the great work

Well Isaac, I tried to make a $50.00 donation today but it kept telling me that my card cannot be used for the transaction. Must have been because I had a credit fraud attempt on my account and they had to give me a temporary card. But rest assured I will donate probably Saturday (tomorrow afternoon) if my new card comes in the mail.

My 3g is actually faster than the stock 3g. Don't know why yours is slower.

I seem to be having issues with wifi not reconnecting to the access point after it wakes back up. This isn`t a new one for me on MIUI, but it is present. I never(rarely at least) seem to have this particular issue with CM7, but have it here. Is there anything I need to change settings wise to get this to mesh better. At the moment it sits with an exclamation mark on the wifi toggle until I intervene.

Yeah, mine was pretty quick last night (for VM, at least). I was pulling 2.2 Mbs down and 1 mb up. I was averaging about 1.4 Mbs down during my speed tests.

Could just be VM's flaky service.

Long press the WiFi icon and it'll open the settings. Mine gets stuck at obtaining IP then connects when settings is opened

Thanks, but I am aware of that.. I`m addressing the underlying issue of why it happens in the firse place. On CM7 if awakens and reconnects very quickly on my phone. I`ve poked around and tweaked with the wifi bits but cannot get the same to work in MIUI. Just curious I`m not going to lose sleep over it, nor am I demanding a fix.

Isaac, I noticed after you pm'ed me. I downloaded Iheart radio so I could listen to some music while I worked, but it would never get past the load screen and kept force closing. Is there any way around that..? Thanks in advance.

I came to the conclusion that it must be an issue with their server. I restored back to my stock ROM just to listen to it and it did the same thing. So now i'm back on miui with no Iheart.
