Seeing as this is a Nexus section, I'm going to bet most folks say Nexus. Over in the Razr section, seeing as that's the Razr section, I'm going to bet most folks say Razr. Just a hunch.

One thing I'd like to pre-empt is any arguing and getting personal, which these threads tend to do.

However, not to be the killjoy that I can be, I'm just projecting... so carry on. :D

Edit: Nexus, btw. ;)
I understand that, this being the Nexus thread and all, that more than likely, most were going to defer to the Nexus. But comparatively, the RAZR thread has about 1/25th of the participation as this thread and I think there was some talk (especially on the GG FAQ post) of either going with the RAZR or being really torn since the Nexus doesn't have GG. Plus, the reason I posted here rather than the RAZR thread is the single biggest determining factor for me between the two was a locked bootloader, so I was just curious how many people would "defect" if Big Red actually left the bootloader unlocked. Obviously, the answer is, "not many." If it were, my decision between the Nexus and RAZR would be a very difficult one, although the Nexus would likely win out in the end.

This is the most stupid reason not to get a phone. There are external battery packs that are 10x better than all extended batteries together.

Been using one for 2 years now and it is a million times better than another internal battery as it can charge multiple devices plus it has 3x the capacity of my battery in the phone. Also, there is no need to reboot the phone to get the battery to work.

The only thing I know is that I have an extended battery on my captivate and it gets me through the day. Maybe you can explain to me why I would even want an extended battery pack to carry around when an extended battery works just fine for me and I couldn't care less about charging multiple devices as with todays phones I find myself not needing any other device. I never even use my laptop as it is and I find tablets gimmicky and redundant. I am also aware that there is no need to reboot the phone to get the battery to work. Message sent from an extended battery captivate that has been off the charger and used heavily since 6 am Saturday morning.

Rooted, no. Unlocked bootloader would be more correct for a comparison.

It is difficult to compare the two. Neither is available for side-by-side comparison. Also, many apps are not designed for ICS and will naturally run slower until they are updated. The SGN is going to run into its hiccups to begin with. However, I expect those to be corrected quickly.

Razr, Rezound, or GNex will be my next phone.
