Well the nexus s was never exclusive it just took that long for sprint to pick it up. Hopefully the GSM version will be available in the states in a couple months

And the snow is now coming down in DC. Crazy. Thankfully it's not like a couple years ago when we got 20+" and the city basically shut down. Lots of beer, Bagel Bites and a $250 parking ticket, we managed to live through it. Happy to have summer finally end though

If you start losing power you won't be so thrilled lol. On that topic any games I should dl before losing Internet. Have angry birds fruit ninja and plants vs zombies

Same. Our yard is now a graveyard of tree branches. Tree fell on my car. Hopefully no damage and the power is out. Losing it during the hurricane was enough. Today officially sucks.

Indeed. We just lost half a 50 foot tree our yard is now officially snow-tree covered. Roll on nov 17

To all in NJ (meaning, 80% of the posters on this forum), is snow this early a usual occurrence?

I'm used to harsh winters in Chicago, but it's surprisingly a sunny, crisp, nice Autumn Saturday here.

We have had snowy Halloween before I think they said this winter will be worse than last year, which was one of the worst Winters snowfall wise ever. This one i think is bad due to leaves still on trees when snow on trees turn to ice

Yeah, I'm watching the ND/Navy game now and it looks gorgeous there. And as to the frequency of snow this early on the East coast, the weatherman this morning said the last time it snowed in DC in October was (about) 1978 :eek:

Snowy Halloweens were not a rare occurrence in the late 80s early 90s.

We had a lot more snow back then in general, as I remember building tunnels in my parents front yard as a kid. It's as if the snow took a break for a decade or more.

While losing power and falling trees is not good, I can't say I'm not jealous. Here is the view out my back window:

This is the way it looks 95% of the time. We get so excited about weather we turn off all media and pull up chairs to watch. No joke!
