If the phone is slowing down due to low memory, Autokiller might be a good alternative to regular task killer since it doesn't run it's own process to kill app, it adjusts Android's internal memory management minimum values.

This is the article from the same site you've linked FAQ: How do I use AutoKiller?

Auto-killer was a life saver when I was using the Stock Rom. With that said since bouncing back and forth between MIUI & CM7 I have not seemed to have needed it. I have also been concerned that it may not play well with some of the tweaks Isaac & Tickerguy have applied as I understand the idea behind the application but not so much on the specifics. Has anyone been using Auto killer with either build that could comment on its effectiveness? Main concern is that I will undo something they have done performance wise by using the app.

Patience...it takes time to fine tune a rom and make it just right.

These are wise words from pandacookie... ;)

There still some things missing when I bumped up to 2.3.7.

EDIT: BTW, thanks for the donation. Always appreciated. When I find some time, I'll add donator names to the first post.

Can't say, I thought it was ready now, but I found more problems.

The phone I did the port from is like the ugly-stepchild of the MIUIandroid bunch. It's missing so much crap and clearly didn't receive proper attention.

That sucks. Thank you for letting us know. I really love this port you made. It's great even though there are some bugs in it. I'm willing to overlook those bugs just to use this great rom. When you work out everything that update is gonna be pretty damn sweet!

New build is posted. Check changelog for details. I've removed some of the older builds from the first post. If, for some reason, you want an older build, you'll have to personally request a link.

It should be noted that this build is closer to the ROM found in the official MIUI phone (MI-One). While I still used a MIUIandroid port as a base, this build is technically a more "pure" version of MIUI. There were some kinks introduced in 1.10.28 that weren't caused by me. These upstream issues will probably be fixed later. I haven't noticed any showstoppers.

The work I did for GPU is not in this kernel. It still needs some work as it was hit-or-miss.

Happy MIUI-ing.

I LOVE YOU MAN
THIS IS AMAZING

only problem is WiFi lockup is back. You know if you lockscreen with WiFi on you need to reboot

Other than that it is gold

I've been using WIFI all day and have not had one lockup.

Kernel messages are posting that it's working too:

Code:
<4>[ 3302.378662] mmc0: [msm_sdcc] wake_unlock WLAN

That's how it supposed to be (for CM7/MIUI at least). The lockups should be fixed, but it still doesn't obey WIFI sleep policies.

So for someone who needs instant data notification(google voice for texts), which of the 2 options saves more power when there is always wifi available?
1) keep wifi on and 3g off(automatically), but system stays one level above deep sleep
2) automatically turns Wifi off when the screen is off(using Juicedefender would probably do it), but keep 3G on and allows system to go into deep sleep
