I dont even know where to post this!!! I have a friend who is at a pretty fairly high position at sprint. She thought I may be doing some extra activities on the side and contacted someone she knows at Verizon who is able to access the server. This person is sending her all my text message! She knows the names of everyone I text the exact words and times! We dont live together and we were apart for a few days and she new exactly what the messages said. So I know she got the messages from someone who has access to the server. How do i go about getting this person fired and make this stop? no one at the store or customer service is going to be able to look this up and find anything. She came out and point blank told me she has someone at verizon sending her the information. ( I edited the information in this message) she reads these posts :)

is this her?!

moondrius thanks for the input. I have looked through the my phone using titanium backup and I recognize all the apps installed on the phone. I will do a factory reset anyway to just to make sure! If she really is getting this information from someone at verizon as i believe she is. how do I go about resolving this? I dont know even know where to really start?

moondrius-thanks for the help,my phone is a rooted droid X so I will try that method first. I am going to take all precautions. Although I highly doubt she installed any type of spy software. Due to the amount of time she would have with my phone it doesnt seem likely since she has to hook up to a pc. ( i believe thats how they work) Hey Jayme thanks for the info, she admitted that she worked at nynex before it was verizon ( spelling) she met a few people who are now with verizon that is giving her the information. THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD!!! I am going to cover all my basis. If it is someone from verizon I am trying to find a place to start cause I am pretty sure its illegal

Have you thought about going to the police? If she's installed some kind of Key logger or someone is accessing your info, both are illegal. If you haven't reset your phone yet the police have tech people that could check your phone. Also look at your account online for any numbers or times of calls you Didn't make, this might tell you if your phone is forwarding your info. But in any case, if the cops call sprint and this psycho that you meet on craigslist (sorry, lol) it might scare then enough to stop.

I did a factory reset as recommended yesterday afternoon. I did it through bootstrap recovery though, Wipe data/cache. Was this what you were talking about about Moondrius? I got an email from aaron( last name will remain nameless) he is the guy that was able to resolve my billing issue before. If he can approve a 50+ thousand cell bill he should be able to handle this. He said he will contact someone from lert? no idea what that is but it sounds like they have a special department for this.

There are a couple ways to do something like this that does not involve VZW forwarding the info.

1. She could have installed an SMS backup app on your phone, which sends all txts to gmail or some other storage site for online access.

2. She could have logged into your account portal on VZ and set your plan to detailed SMS, which I think shows all txt info.

3. She's sneaking into your house when you sleep and checks your phone as she stands over your bed with an axe.

Regardless of what she is doing, I'd say run as far away from her as you can. Crap like that leads to restraining orders and jumping at every noise you hear outside your house at night.

maybe give a call to your local news stations's "investigative" reports line. they can track down stuff like that or give them the names of the people and they can go after them at those companies.

both people are at fault and can be fired, your friend at Sprint KNOWS is against the law and company policy to ask for info from another carrier for an individual person's info. The person at Verizon KNOWS they can get fired for accessing systems to obtain customer records with out customer consent and or a subpoena.

its gonna suck to report someone you know for doing this, but the company they work for needs to know they did this, no telling how many other people have been affected by these 2 people.
