Perfect! That's what I was looking for.

It won't boot so the menu item won't work.

EDIT: maybe not. Latest recovery or stable recovery both work until I select any menu item, then they hang with just the hat icon. Pressing power or home button brings me back to the menu, but nothing works (advanced, mounts, reboot now, power-off etc) in CWM (5.0.2.0).

Finally after hours of letting it boot loop (while plugged into my work computer to maintain a charge), it booted so I was able to boot into recovery via the power button menu. If this happens one more time I'm going to consider another rom.

Looking to return to MIUI.. CM7 just doesn't do it for me :eek:

how much better would you guys say the battery is compared to the non-defy versions?

New build every Friday, but we sometimes don't see the X version until as late as Wednesday.

You can check for an update with Rom Manager or go to MIUI.us UNITED WORLDWIDE - ROM Downloads

The version # is a date... year.month.day.

For everyone who is wondering, miui 1.10.28 for the DX is currently down due to an annoying bug. The problem arises when you switch from 3g to wifi. All is good when going to wifi but the problem is when trying to go back too 3g. Upon toggle back too 3g, all data connection is lost and the only way to correct it is a reboot. Other than that the ROM is great. The next release will address these issues.

Your bootloop issue is odd because I haven't run into it on my phone. Are you running any scripts or overclocking? I have found that hot booting causes issues. I only run imoseyon's script.

Miui isn't down... Just this build of it... 10.21 is obviously still up and running strong, and available through ROM manager and the miui website.....

I'm OC'ing to 1250, the same conservative settings I've used for over a year with every rom (jRummy). Other than that, just normal apps. No V8 or any other scripts. I did update from .7 to .21 again. I had some issue with .21, maybe the bootloop, so went back to .7, but that didn't seem to help either. Funny thing was that MIUI was a clean install a couple months ago so not really that long on it. I don't usually have stability problems.

I had the boot-loop after a clean sbf/wipe cache, dalvik ect. install - fixed it with a factory reset/wipe via recovery (which is nice to still be able to get to on MIUI when looping, volume up/down when the blue>green led appears on boot) and that fixed it, works great now - running .21.

Its been a while since I have tinkered with my DX, and I think I am gonna load this ROM up over thanksgiving when I have time enough to get everything working perfect.

How is it in terms of buggyness and battery as well as does the camera and video work flawlessly in 720p or are there any issues there. I think that this ROM is the best out there from my past experiences on it in terms of customizability and functionality. I hope that it continues to see support for the DX.

Off topic: What do you guys think of the DROID RAZR? Is that the phone to get after the DX? My contract doesn't come up for "free" or discounted upgrades for a few months, but that phone seems like the one to get. Only question is if the bootloader will be locked down and if we can mod it and rom it? If it is, then I don't think I'll be getting it. If it isn't, and people support the device with good ROMs, then I might pick it up.

i was testing 1.10.28 for DXC and there was a problem with toggling back and forth between wifi and 3g that caused the data connection to fail. a reboot was required to reestablish the connection. he let me know the other day that he was working on another release but it will be his last since he is moving over to the nexus. Aceoyame, over at Rootzwiki will continue the work for the DX.
