Has anyone paid for the full version? I want to buy it, to help out the developer mostly, but I am leery of buying it since the currency is foreign. I am concerned that my credit card will charge me a bunch of fees because of the foreign currency transaction.
I bought wordfeud without issue. My friend was playing the ad-supported version and I couldn't believe how anyone could tolerate the ads. I spend so much time with that game that a couple bucks is literally fractions of a penny a day to play. Well worth the purchase, even with Words With Friends coming out soon.
So does anyone else think WWF just absolutely sucks compared to Wordfeud? WWF is bright and cartoony and ugly with less options and a worse interface. The only reason I'll use it is to play with iPhone users.

I'm with you. I have a few iPhone peeps that I wouldn't mind playing against, but I prefer WordFeud. It isn't a familiarity thing, either, as I have played quite a lot of of WWF on my (now broken) iPod.
Word Feud is as good, if not better, than Words with Friends. I play both @ momdahbomb and I'm always up for a game. Accepting any and all invitations!
Good grief, there are some very snarky people posting above. For pity's sake, it doesn't seem that important to trash fellow posters.
I play W w/ F with eight or so people, some randon opponents. We can go several days without anyone making a move, but WWF tech support says that real friends' games will be terminated in 12 days and randon opponents' games in 5 if there's no movement.
Doesn't always happen but the threat's there!
I love the thing: it's fun, instructive, and addictive. And there surely is a lot of strategy.
