So just rooted my phone and started getting rid of some apps/services that are useless to me.

i used doomlord's exploit so my phone is still stock.

from there i installed ES File Explorer, mounted /system, went to /system/app/

and renamed some .apk files to .apk.bak

this seems to be working, but is it the proper way?

this is my first android, thanks in advance!

Both ways work wonderfully. I use titanium ....and always freeze them

I never...ever delete. You just never know

yeah i was trying to buy titanium last night but apparently there was a problem with my google checkout and they wanted me to upload a scanned copy of my DL license and proof of address?!!?!

just now i created another google account just for the marketplace, linked it to google checkout, and added a CC..

my first purchase will prob be titanium =)
