With so many great phone right around the corner, i would like to see how many t-bolt owners are making a switch. My heart has been set on a VZ Nexus since the day the N1 came out, so i will definitely be going that route with one of my 2 available upgrades. That being said, the razr and rezound look very nice too. Answer in the poll, explain here if you would like. At least this will let me know who to expect over in the GNex forum, there are some great guys here that i will certainly miss.

i have an upgrade in March that i will be using on the nexus.
or, something amazing is going to have to come out to get me away from that phone. just like the OP, i have been waiting/wanting a nexus phone for 2 years now. even if the nexus is outdated in march (which i will be for sure) there is just going to have to be something over the top amazing to draw me away.

Why no iPhone4S option? :p I am not sure if I am leaving yet and if so what for. I have an upgrade available. Rumor is the Droid 4 will be available before the end of the year last I heard so that may be something to look into but I am leaning towards the nexus or the rezound currently. More nexus if not only for AOSP but also the slightly bigger screen, maybe I should just wait for that 7 inch screen phone I dream of...

well I'm not eligible for upgrade until September of 2012, so if the Rezound is still $300 on contract, I'm gonna buy the Incredible 2.

Yeah I know it's sort of a downgrade, but it's thinner, lighter, GSM & a hell of a lot cheaper!

It isn't really a downgrade, it is basically the same phone without LTE. Oh and it is CDMA not GSM ;) otherwise you will get no service on VZW

Children wasting their money playing musical phones.

Not exactly, I let my sister use my D2G as partial payment for babysitting. That phone is messed up, it was first messed up when my wife dropped it in water (twice). After I left her my daughter messed up more by putting it in the toilet. That line is eligible for an upgrade so I can get a new phone and my sister will get the TB. So I don't think I qualify as a "child playing musical phones" more of a person who has to deal with females (or pay for their phone service) that are not as responsible as they should/could be with their phone.

Waiting for the next best thing, had too many people tell me to stay away from sammy. People have absolutely trashed the TB, I think its they are stuck in contract, I but mine outright on launch at BesyBuy (interest free ftw). I was so annoyed that I did no research when I got my BB Tour and was STUCK for nearly 2 years.

I love the sour grapes attitude...."OMG you're leaving me and my old tech behind, well you're just a poopie head then!" It starts to make you wonder if these are the same people that get mad when a girl dumps them for a guy that doesn't get so pissy when she upgrades her cell phone to something that's better than his. Next thing you know he's outside the parking lot of where she works with a high powered rifle and....well you know the rest....

Keeping the bolt. LTE was the paradigm shift and it already happened. The new processors and screens are nice, but they do no enable any new function out of the phone. The TB will almost certainly get an ICS port if not an official upgrade. I'd rather put the $600 for an off-contract phone towards a transformer prime.

Why would you have to go off contract?
