gets great reviews, cheap and does not make your phone thicker like the 2000mAh.

I've been using one for about a month now; its measured capacity (via Battery Monitor Widget Pro) is around 2150 mAh. That's well above the specified capacity of 1900 mAh; however, I suspect that BMW Pro's measurements aren't 100% accurate.

so how much longer does it actually last you? I know that depends on a lot of variables but i mean how much extra has it given you based on your usual useage?

reviews on amazon suggest a "few hours more", probably depends how much you use your phone. there seems almost universal agreement with reviewers that it lasts longer than the standard battery.

The higher the mAh, the longe it's supposed to last (i think!) - there is a larger official samsung 2000mAh battery, but it costs

Got mine a couple of weeks ago - lasts about an extra 1-1/2 hours longer I find, which I'm happy with.

BUUUUTTTTT, what I find much more satisfying is that it runs stone cold - no matter what you do (actually, I havent tried hd movies yet so maybe thats an exception) the phone doesn't even become remotely warm. You might think not a big deal, but I like it!

It's heavier technically than the stock one, but I can't seem to notice.

Only 1-1/2 hours longer?
That doesnt seem like very much to me. I would expect 5 hours or more given the %age capacity increase.

Anyone else on here running with this battery? I'd be interesting to hear your thoughts as its got me thinking!......

Sorry, typo on my part, I meant between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours.

Not much I know, but for 8 quid it's worth the plunge IMO.

interesting you should say that, i've just this minute read that apparently it's a healthy activity, and if participated in at least 5 times a week, prevents prostate cancer. apparently we should be all more open about it and should partake regularly.

hope that's not too off topic for slug et al.......but he'll probably be too busy partaking himself to notice!! in battery business that is.

Not as such, but I had run a couple cycles on it; IIRC, its measured value was in the 1700-1800 mAh range.

I actually stumbled upon some on eBay that claims to store up to 3500mAh. Is this actually real or not? I mean, that's almost twice the amount of standard battery...

if it's too good to be true......

considering the 2000mAh adds 1.5mm to thickness, IF this battery exists it would probably turn your phone to a brick!!!

Actually, they will give an extra casing for it... (mostly because what you've said about the thickness)

These people can claim all they want but there is NO WAY to get twice the amount of power out of the same size battery, using the same chemistry.

There are different ways of measuring the battery capacity and these people are using the "deception method"!
