I just purchased a Galaxy S2 today so I will be selling my X10-

I thank you all for your help on here throughout the year and a half I had the SE

I learned a lot. But its time to upgrade. Got a good deal at Rogers today.

ya my time may be coming to an end as well.
Once Rogers releases the Samsung Galazy S Glide within the next few days I'm gonna switch over. Finally a good android device with a QWERTY keyboard on Rogers.

don't worry....X10 is a great startup phone for the smartphone market...but we have to agree that it's taking age and other devices are now far from here.

but even if i upgrade...(still stuck for a year because of the new upgrade policy) i will keep my X10....definitly a great phone

Yep, if the Galaxy Nexus comes to rogers, I will likely keep the x10 as a backup and head for greener pastures. I think I learned my lesson, Google phones are key if you want timely updates.

how much do you think I could get for it on the internet?? 50-70? if I factory reset it and its in good shape. not great but good shape.

Checking craigslist, theres a few out there for $200.
So you can get at least half that potentially. I can't see people going nuts for them at $200, but for $100 you may get someone to bite.

I always keep 1 phone as backup, so I'll keep my x10.
Now what am I gonna do with my current backup - Samsung Blackjack 2. it was a good little phone actually.

Good point. Always great to have an extra phone/media device/storage device laying around. Just in case.

Never who what could happen with the new phone....like stops working over Christmas holidays...then you are screwed.

So far the S2 LTE is amazingly fast and large and great resolution.

I have a friend who has had the same phone for about a month or so now and i asked him last night if its just as fast now as when he got it and he said its the same. I know its a 1.2 ghz processor at 1GB ram which is unreal but I hope lag doesnt set-in in a few months

I think Im not going to root this phone though. I want to keep it as clean and as simple as possible.

Spoken like a true addict. Yeah, this time will be different, I give you 1 month out of warrenty and that thing will be rooted with a custom rom. I will come and find you in the S2 forums to find out.

I've now switched over as well. Ordered my Samsung Galaxy S Glide (aka Captivate Glide) today. Now maybe I can use a headset to listen to music with a built in mic, which don't like to work on Sony phones cause they like to rewire the internals to force you to buy their peripherals.

My x10 has served me well from the 1.6 to 2.1 to 2.3 days.

20 months to go on my Rogers contract... but at the end I think I'll keep the phone and get a cheap plan, I barely use it except to watch movies when I go to work.

But we'll see what they offer me!

dont worry about your 20 months.. I only had my x10 for about just a few months over a year and they gave me an upgrade for some reason. he said it was every 30 months. guess they made an error. oh well so I ended up getting the S2 for 200 bux but had to start again at 3 years w/ rogers.

Doesn't X10 have the same software as in Arc? that software is latest that SE offers..for me X10 is good hardware wise also except that it doesnt have the front camera.Even if it was, I wouldnt use it much. I use this phone a lot & never had any problems...Never had to force reboot the phone. Samsung phones are too plastic-y for me. I think I will stick with X10 for some time.

I heard that too about the samsung phones being cheap feeling. I dont really see that in mine. Maybe the only piece that feels cheap a bit is the volume up and down button on the left side. thats it.

I love it still. I got the skyrocket which is the 4.5 inch screen compared to the 4.3 regular SII
