Can someone help me with a reaccurring problem every time I receive a audio mms It deletes when I try to listen or download it???

I've encountered this problem with the Hauwei Ascend...what I did to solve it was I activated Split SMS and it cleared up the problem. Apparently it not only splits texts that exceed a 160 characters but it seems to split both the audio and video during a MMS download. It also helps out with those long-winded MMS that contain extreme dialog as well as both motion animation with sound. (ugh, I hate those with a burning passion, lol). Of course there's also the possibility of a bad MMS fix flash. If this is the case then I recommend entering custom recovery, deleting both caches, and reflashing the MMS fix. Afterwords you may also wanna reboot a couple of times giving the device atleast 5 minutes to boot and fully load the home launcher.

Here's how ya activate the aforesaid options:

Open the stock SMS app
Press the menu key and select options
Scroll down to Split SMS and check it
Next check Auto Retrieve While Roaming to ensure you never miss an important text or MMS
Note: These settings only effect the stock SMS app and all options should be disabled if a third-party SMS app is in use.

So with the newest build widget locker seems to force close no matter what I do, I've tried 2 seperate versions, and also tried fixing permissions.

Edit: nvm figured out what was wrong.

Can someone please upload custom gapps and this rom to gdocs! Mediafire DOES NOT WORK ON MY PHONE!!! this is my only source of internet!

So I take it MMS is still not working with this build?

Some browsers, Opera being one of them, wont download from MediaFire. Try a different browser perhaps if you havent.

n00b question.........flashed the new build a couple minutes ago, everything is working great but I don't have the roboto font. Do I have to do something when flashing the rom or is there a setting to enable it?

On my OM the build made it not work, but on my friend's OM he just flashed the rom and for some reason got mms working. Maybe hes a lucky one?

Hey bob, great rom !

& I like how you can edit the carrier text, but is there a way to change the font? I've tried apps but I always get boot looped any help?

settings, cyanogen settings, interface, status bar tweeks, n u c it right there.

try absoulte system...allows you change boot animation and font...also has a built in ad blocker....

This newest update makes lte on/off app obsolete! There is now an evdo choice in the mobile networks settings. Cyanogen rocks...

bob we got an issue

every thing works great on this rom, but when a 3rd party app tries fo use the camera a big ol, black line shows up down the middle of the screen. satellite ar, camera 360 n qr droid are what's affected.
on qr droid, its like the interface is mirrored cuz the settings buttons are both on top n bottem but screenshots look like there's nothing wrong.
so i guess the camera work fine, but after image processing or whatever, i guess the process gets corrupted somehow

Yep, I know about it, it's a CM issue and will be fix with next build.

Idk if it's me or if it's a flash player i installed buttttt. When i click to watch a browser video. It shows like the loading screen but like with a white ring not going in a circle and then shows video.

I do, but it was the same with the flash built in. I just reinstalled it again cause for some reason it just wasn't working on my rom. And another thing, My ring lock goes from being on the side to floating in the middle LMFAO. I dont even have to drag it, it's just a click and thats it Im entered xD

I've flashed the mms fix for the newest version of this rom and I still have no luck with sending or receiving pictures. The mms fix worked before on the previous cm roms and versions

Im at a lost... Ive spent the last few hours trying everything. Installed a new recovery so i could wipe all data flashed and reflashed a few times tried the mms patchs
