Hey everyone thanks for taking a minute to help. Long story short, got a moto droid x2 yesterday. Led light won't flash upon power up, not always being notified of sms (no sound), and lastly randomly my phone will unlock itself when laying on my bed, and sometimes even go to my home screen "rotated" itself as well...(also auto rotate screen is disabled)...my question is, do I need to contact my vendor? Or why is this happening...help please, and thank you.

Well the led problem is most like a software bug as my droid 2 had that as well. Sms problem could be fixed by wiping data factory reset maybe or you could try selecting a ringtone before doing anything drastic. The unlocking of the lock screen sounds physical could be a faulty touch screen or maybe had water damage (hopefully not) but now my d2 has water damage, my phone does it occasionally.

I have MIUI and that took care of it for me with proper wipe.

well if i only knew what MIUI was,...lol. Also, I set my battery mode to shut off data sync after 15 minutes off peak, and 60 minutes peak hours. Question is, what if someone calls me, texts me, or facebook messages me (i use facebook messenger app) in the the time that my data sync is "shut off?" do I not get notified until i check my phone? i want to save battery, but more importantly I want my notifications in real time.

You will not be notified of emails,FB, and any other accounts that are normally synced. You will be notified of texts and calls still :)

So even when running background data sync,... i wont get notified with my "facebook messenger" app, once my data sync is disabled? thats lame because my really good friend can only talk to me via facebook messages from her computer, hmmm battery life vs friend...< battery life. lol

Also, i noticed my wifi has been turning itself off frequently...wtf is up with that? also notice my 3g takes a second to boot up after i unlock my phone, (im wondering if "inactivity" is exclusive to using apps like fb, email, messenger, etc. So im wondering if calling and texting is considered "activity") thanks
