I realize it's been almost a year since the last post in this forum, but I'ma a desperate dad with a daughter who loves her Vortex (which kinda sucks). It's running 2.2.2, rooted using Gingerbreak v1.20, but I am stuck getting a recovery on it. There are a ton of links (most are dead) some forums used 'flash file' and recovery file' interchangeably) which doesn't matter cause all I can find is a very small 'flash img" that is no way big enough to be the right file. I've put about 5 hours honest searching into this and can't seem to put together a clear set of instructions (and the proper flash image and recovery image) to get the recovery flashed.
I'd be forever grateful if anyone who has successfully flashed recovery could help me with instructions, an ACTIVE link to the flash and recov images... I rooted my HTC Thunderbolt, flashed roms and kernels a dozen times, and this stupid Vortex is kicking my butt!
Any help is really, really appreicated!
