Navigation Mount - Anyone have it?

I have one. Your existing car charger plugs into the back of the mount. It's actually a pretty nice little mount. The only bad thing is you have to use it in landscape only...

Seriously? That's a deal killer as navigation in portrait mode is far far better than landscape.

That removes the RAZR from consideration. I'll stick with my DX for now.

There is a removable insert on the dock to allow for a case

Whoa! I better check my facts before posting up! I'll go take a peek at my dock again, wouldn't be the first time I overlooked something obvious :D

Edit: Page 1 of the instruction book clearly says "remove the adapter plate when using a protective case with your phone".

I just used my doc on a trip and I really enjoyed having it. The doc app does only seem to work in landscape mode, but you can use the back key to get to your normal phone screen and launch navigation from there. The doc has holes for your camera (in case you want to film the road ahead) and spots open for a headphone jack so you can plug it into your stereo (if equipped with an AUX jack). I actually used iHeartRadio on the entire trip instead of my normal radio. :)

if you get the correct power cord with split for 3.5mm headphone built in, you will not even have to plug into your headphone jack, simply drop the phone in the doc and it charges and plays audio out the usb cable/3.5mm split.

the downside is that you will have to hit the speaker button to hear call audio through your car stereo. If you have the headphone cable plugged in, then it automatically comes through the headphone output.

I don't know what the cable is called, but it came with my droid 3 nav dock, and work perfect on this one. I was surprised it did not come with the same cable.
