I would guess No - it wont. CDMA phones have different types of radios which tend to be thicker and expand the size of the phone. Don't forget - most of the world is GSM, not CDMA.
Right, but think back to the Sweet Tea (red) and Soda (white) cup lids at McDonald's (that they have began to change). The large white looked like it was (and should have been) the same as the red lid, but the nominal difference in the thickness of the cup wall and the necessary pitch (lid projection) to maintain the same/similar profile made the lids just different enough they were not practically inter-changeable. Red lid on large soda or white lid on tea would leak/spill every time- even though they looked very close to identical. I would wager that the "bump" (rise) around the camera will have a slightly different slope (pitch) because of the change in thickness for the overall phone (but presumably using the same camera hardware), just enough that it would not seat correctly.
I could be wrong though (wouldn't be the first time)...
The phone is thicker, not wider. And the thickness is from the cover below. So, it makes the most sense for the company to try to reuse as many parts as possible.. thus, I think it will be and the only diff will be one is stamped Verizon and one not. This way, I think we will be able to get just a plain Jane Google stamped battery cover.
