I dont know the more and more i read this thread the more and more people seem to have their minds made up and then the rest follow into the delusion of this thread. How about we stop speculating. We have enough pages of that already.

Google changed their site to show 16GB only for the LTE version. That could be a mistake or a correction from what it was earlier. They certainly could bring out a 16GB phone and they already have. Europe is getting a 16GB SGN right now. The shortage idea was hypothetical and that is why I used the word maybe. Also this is not hard drive space it is a single higher speed memory chip that is soldered to the board. We have no idea what's going on because Verizon has decided to stay stubornly silent. The one thing we do know is that Google changed the spec on their page to 16GB only for the LTE version. The truth is that is the only official fact we have. We don't know why it was changed only that it was.

I very much don't have my mind made up and I've stated as much. Right now we have conflicting information on the memory spec and that is all I'm saying. We can't say the phone will definitely have 32GB right now any more than we can say it will definitely have 16GB.

Don't know... but I'd really like to know for sure. If 16gb is true... I very much want to be the proud owner of a new Rezound, tonight!

I'm not bent out of shape about it because I dont need the 32gb anyway but if it's only 16gb for lte that is just weird.

Going to unlurk for a second and say hi to everyone.

Been watching this thread for a while, I bought and returned a bionic because of radio issues and I just wasnt impressed with it over my og droid, my wife took the og droid, and since then I have been using a droid inc. The great thing about that phone is that it crashes every time it warms up, so my favorite accessory is an ice pack.... it is sitting on an ice pack right now.... I think i need this G-nex more than most. Trying to stay positive through the rollercoaster but Im pretty bummed with the lack of anything official.

Heres to more waiting.

Late Friday Conspiracy Theory -

So. Google specs the phone, but VZW is able to spec supply commensurate with their network/needs (obvious per radios).

And suddenly it hits VZW execs what they have been seeing in popular news reports and what it correlates to - the same excitement they saw when the iPhone came out.

Concerned about prior commitments to Apple for the iP4s, they delay the phone looking for loopholes until they discover that they can restrict sale of the 32 GB model and reset pricing in order to prevent square-deal 1-to-1 comparisons between the Galaxasaurus Nex and the iP4s.

Send a nice email to a Google employee and see if they can hook you up with one for being ill! They're generally somewhat nice about that kind of stuff

Blagh. Seems like there's some homescreen lag when using graphics-intensive live wallpapers. I usually test the "water/lake" one and on the RAZR it didn't lag at all. Hope its just that particular live wallpaper

The only thing that explains this is behind the scenes secret negotiations on this release between the 3 parties. I'm still horribly confused how Google got themselves into a situation where Verizon has SOOOO MUCH control over this release. They got special rules in the 700mhz wireless action to have more power in situations like this and with the right lawyer pressure probably would, but are apparently letting Verizon run the show in hopes they will support future Nexus officially also.

In the end I almost wish they just did what they had to to have control here and then went it alone and used Moto to release future open LTE VZW Nexus against VZW's will.

It all comes back to stupid apple! Haha wouldn't put it by any phone company to undermine other phones for the iphone
