***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

OK so it seems the vzw double data promotion ends on the 30th of November and the Nexus is not coming in November. Looks like I have to buy a Rezound and exchange it for a nexus to get on the data thing.

I am thinking costco would be the place to buy the nexus once it comes out because they give 90 day exchange on phones for any problems. Sooooo I guess I should pick up a rezound at costco this week. Are there any drawbacks? I will be upgrading a family plan line.
Might want to check, but I believe Costco is only selling the Rezound for home delivery. Can't pick up in the store.

You know I really cannot wait for this phone to drop and become part of the Nexus family. I am just as excited as all of you, but I also enjoy this thread. You all are just having a good time with all the rumors and debating (mostly) certain aspects of the phone and the launch date. It is such a good natured thread that I always keep coming back.

I'm thinking this could just be a Best Buy-exclusive name, based on that Cellebrite picture and now these.

But I have to ask,

Since when is the SGN a GSII phone...? That's what I thought :p

This could explain why the Mobile phone guy I talked to at Best Buy thought that the GNEX was just a souped up Galaxy S2.

Just got back from my local Verizon store tonight. I actually went to check out the Razr and Rezound for the first time, and I was impressed with both. But the Rezound just stood out more to me, it was very quick and that screen is gorgeous. Anyways, I talked to the store manager just out of curiosity and mentioned the Galaxy Nexus (or Prime now?) and he told me the date was December 1st. I asked how sure that was and he told me he just got word today on it. He was taking down names and giving calls if it comes sooner which is possible he said. Just thought I d pass this own guys......

The HTC device really is nice. I like the shiny trim around the edge, and the screen is great.

Didn't testing end according to some of the posts on here? This past Friday I recall. Is there anyway people who have "sources" could reach out and see if they have a release date now?

I would think that by at least tomorrow they would have a better idea as to when its due out...

I think that we're going to be seeing less and less "leaks", judging by all the flaming that's been going on about it recently. Unfortunately if I get more info, I'll probably just PM a couple of people and do it that way.

Besides, our wait will be up in 2 or 3 weeks max. I guess it doesn't make a difference if we know exactly when it will drop.

Has anyone heard seen any good reviews from UK who already have the phone? How's call quality? Does it drop data connections? How's battery life? etc... All of the reviews of the US version are just going over hardware spec...
Call quality in the few that ive taken is good. Havent ventured out into the world to see what its like with normal usage though. Had it on charge once to get to full battery and this is were im at so far:

1. I hope to God you're right.

2. Add me to your list. I like your source.

OH WOW! That's seriously real impressive. Hopefully it shouldn't be TOO much worse on LTE, esp. with the 100 mAh boost.

Ok, everyone needs to take a deep breath. This phone is not dropping until Christmas time. The phones are ready. No defects. It's purely a fiscal decision. There are 3 reasons for this decision;

1) RAZR was just released
2) ReZound was just released
3) the iPhone 4S is still on back order

There ya have it.

Hmm... while this make sense, and I obviously have nothing against you, but where are you getting this info? I'd like to see some credibility here...
Sorry if it's already been established (I'm not being sarcastic).
