AT&T already has it on their site, but it shows as out of stock. I think I'll be waiting for this one. Just wish they would offer it in some other colors.
I got the Otterbox Impact case. Case adds good support and looks like it would do well against minor bumps and drops to the phone. Makes the phone easier to grip and slip-free. I had an Otterbox Commuter case before for the Dell Streak and that thing was able to protect 2 foot drops on concrete. I hope this case does the same.
Otterbox cases are on sale today. 15% off. I wish I had waited.
I couldnt beat the 5 dollar price haha, but I am worried it may not fit. says its not compatible with galaxy S2 HD LTE.
I have the LTE rogers version. It looks like all the holes are in the correct areas so I am not sure why it couldnt fit? not sure what the HD means (high definition??)
Had the hybrid case and did not like it at all..the plastic frame is thin and cheaply made...plus the speaker hole does not line up...I got the diztronic case and love it...perfect fit and everything lines up...
I got the white case mate pop case. I find the case to be awesome, not that bulky, easy to use. The only down side is the rubber is starting to wear a bit, but over the last couple of days it is not doing it as much.
FYI:
Just got an email just a moment ago from Otterbox--the Commuter case in now for sale on their website (Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket Cases // OtterBox.com)
The best part....price is currently listed at $29.71 (15% off the normal $34.95). Shipping to Arlington, VA was $3.79....Definitely less than the $40 listed on the AT&T website. Also for 15% off are the Defender and Impact series as well.
And received two days later. It fits perfectly (if you modify the speaker cut-out), and looks good, if slightly flimsy. I doubt it will last a year. I got - and recommend - the silver one. I think it makes the phone a little easier to hold, and I like that the side buttons are a bit harder to push by accident.
I realized I never gave feedback on the Diztronic case I ordered. I like it a lot! It fits well and is very slim compared to the Case Mate Pop case I was using. Only thing that bugs me is the volume buttons are covered and they don't press well thru the silicon. I am debating taking a dremel tool to it and making a cutout.
