Everytime I now try and view flash content my browser just shuts down. There is no error, or anything. It occurs after I tap on the flash content box with the green arrow. It is doing this for both Dolphin HD, and the stock browser. Any ideas as to what would be causing this?

This happens when you are on a site that has a large amount of flash (multiple videos on the same page, ads, etc). From your browser, go to settings and under enable plug-ins select "on demand". This way, you can select what content to view.

I have tried this based on previous guidance and it still doesn't work. I did have it working on channelsurfing.net when I first loaded flash, but middle of last week, it started doing this.

I have noticed recently that the browser seems to do this on links that are not delivering any programing. I have loosely tested this theory on my laptop, trying to hit a link that would force close the browser on my phone.

After finding a link that did have a live stream of programing on my laptop, I tried it on my phone and it worked.

Can't say that it does this ALL of the time (since I have only tried it twice).

I have had the same problem and based on other comments, I took the dive and reset the phone. I did speed up the phone, but I am stilling having the same problem.

I have asked in a couple of different threads and keep being told that rooting might solve this.
