So i got my Galaxy Note today! Its my first Android phone.
Im trying to put a mkv file onto it, Transformers 3 BluRay to be precise. To show all the iPhone lovers at work how awesome my new phone is
Im having a little trouble though, im just dropping it into a Video folder i made, though i have tried it in a few different folders etc incase that was the problem.
Its gets somewhere over halfway, then computers says the device has stopped responding.
Phone says

Application MTP Application (in process com.android.MtpApplication) is not responding
Ive succesfully copied smaller files over in the same way. Am i doing something wrong ?
Ive tried various folder, Ive tried keeping the phone screen on, not letting it turn off incase that was stopping the transfer.
