CRAZY Galaxy Note Price Drop!

Heh, I expected a price drop, but not that steep. I have it since November 15 and the price already dropped by ~$160. Still I'm enjoying it :D.

That's the price you gotta pay when your one of the 1st people to get the Galaxy Note, just wait a year when it's like $99 + 2 year contract! haha!:D

It's all good and worth it now though! So Thats good!:)

True that!
and it makes Me even more smile when I see it on expansys.ae for $671!!! :D
No one's being mentioning expansys, I think they are respected dealers imo :)

Keep up the price update guys!

Nobody's mentioned it because it's $795! They were probably trying to compete to get visitors to there site then bumped it back up! (SHADY MARKETING SCHEMES!)

A Galaxy Note below $700 at this point is kinda too low.

There's gotta be a catch somewhere. Maybe higher shipping rates?

So many people are still willing to buy it at $700-750 range so it doesn't make sense for any seller to sell it below 700.

Firstly Im new to Samsung or lets just say Android. Coming from Nokia zone(N900 currently) I found the prices of Samsung varying in many places. If you look at forums the peeps in INDIA are purchasing it for like dirt cheap $539 with a free leather case!!! THATS INSANE IMHO!!
In the previous post I had mentioned $671 and now it has dropped to $656 (Do just the basic convertion of current currency rates i.e. $1 = AED3.672) but the dealers get it at the rate of 3.56. So there you go a steep fall again! But yeah the stores at the mall are selling it at the range of $817-$844!! Which is :O!!

P.S: The delivery charge is $30 to U.A.E.

I just paid 457 euros from Amazon.
Last week they were 531 euro, this week they dropped to 508 and then I get 10% staff discount.

Are you sure the Galaxy Note you bought wasn't refurbished or something? I can't believe the price drops on this phone. I could understand if it turn out to be a piece of crap but everyone is lovin it!:D

It's brand new!
I also could not believe the drops.
I nervously checked on Amazon this morning - they've dropped the price again - now going out at 506,99 yoyos.

At Amazon, sold by OEM Shop is $635 right now (12/16/2011). Not bad at all. Btw, I bought it from them, it is the Polish version. It did not have screen issues exhibit by the Galaxy S II T-Mobile version where there were grey banding and grey blobs over the black screen. It does have some problem reproducing some level of grey, but it's just purely software I think, maybe mismatch of bits of colors displaying by the OS with the screen actual colors available.

Droid Razr, HTC Rezound, and Galaxy Nexus?
I honestly do not want any of those three. I returned the Nexus, it lacks microusb and a better camera (yes I know it can shoots fast) and doesn't have GLONASS. The Rezound uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 which isn't up to par anymore, even the Exynos 1.4ghz in my Note don't play some HD MKV smoothly without moving it to internal storage and overclocking. And the Razr, well it seem to have same internal hardwares as the Nexus, but no pentaband and no ICS and no HD screen.

Nexus is fast with ICS, but I have a feeling once ICS is for Note, it will be even faster than Nexus. The only downside with the Note is its a very big phone. Nexus is the best candidate if the size of the Note is too much, I still can't get over how big this phone is.
