What do you drive?

why not have an 800HP Supersnake? I dont race (i do take my cars to the track to really see how they perform in most situations, but times are irrelevant where Igo) but I do plan on building my WRX out to a 450HP built block motor. mainly just because I love wrenching on cars and its fun and there are the rare occasions where have a faster car is safer.(thats just my excuse to the GF when i buy another part)

What's depressing is when your "fast" car gets beat by a grocery-getter....what's more depressing? That grocery-getter has that cheap wood paneling on it.

This is a light-hearted, fun topic in an Android-related web forum. If you want to question a poster about their car, please take it to PM rather than start a Spanish Inquisition-style interrogation in the thread.

Thank you.
Didnt relize it was an inquisition... seemed like a few simple questions to me but whatever you say.

Btw, I drive a faded red 1993 Toyota pickup. :D It may not be the most attractive thing in world, but I love it. its 4-cylinder engine still runs fairly smooth, even with 251,000 miles on it. I've made several people behind me mad though since the whopping 115 HP won't carry me up any hill without slowing down. :( The truck is probably the most basic truck in existence, which I love. The windshield wipers don't even have a pause setting, just off, slow and fast. :p

Your truck had intermittent wipers on it. Its called taking your hand and turning it off and on lol.

Talking about vehicles with no power. My dad had a Mazda GLC hatchback. This car couldnt get out of its own way. It was a god awful faded gold. We called it the golden pumpkin. It was reliable and miss that car.

That is the reason why I would drive like a grandma during the snowy months in IN. My car only had summer tires and my dad didn't want me to put snow/all season tires on it. One wrong move and my car will lock the wheels and I will go sliding into a small ditch or a snowy curb.
That's...extremely dangerous, lol. Not sure how much snow you're talking about, but having been in situations where I was forced to drive in ice/snow on summer tires, it was (stupidly) dangerous, in even the smallest amounts.

I wear snow tires during the cold months, now, and switch back to the summers in the warmer months (dedicated tires rock).

Like the other poster, just curious as to why your father didn't want you on proper tires?

Just bought an 06 4runner with only 37k miles. The wife loves it and it should last forever.

It will. My parents have a 2003 4runner, they bought it brand new and it now has 100,000 miles, no problems. A lot of it included towing a boat that's about 2500 pounds to the lake and back (~1 hour one way) and to the beach and back (~5 hours one way)
