I think white looks better on a phone than black IMO.
Of course, this will release after I brought my RAZR. Oh well.

not a fan of the white, I think the razr would look very sharp *no pun intended* in a dark navy similar top the D2, or if they lacquer coated the carbon fibre looking kevlar backing. sure the shine would scuff and scratch but it would look awesome (maybe have different weave colors, like carbon fibre[calls go to tuner shop to see if they can paint phone like they do my carbon fibre car parts])

Haha, good point. aramid/Kevlar(tm) is yellow; carbon is black; and fiberglass is white.

They often say "woven Kevlar"; so it's apparently just Kevlar fibres combined with something else.

I asked on the Moto Boards. The Xperts told me there has been no official statement and probably just an internet rumor. No response from any official Moto people.

Kevlar cloth comes in woven varieties, as does carbon and fiberglass cloth. The individual strands (very tiny diameter) are grouped together, and the groups of strands woven. That's why many carbon fiber parts (like on bikes) have that woven criss-cross appearance.
