Purchase & Download Movies?

As our family trip approaches I am looking for a website or service where I can purchase and download movies to my Android phone. I've found several places to RENT movies however from what I am reading they are streaming and require internet access/provider signal. I will be on an Airplane w/ no service of any kind so I am looking for a site/service that allow me to download the movie so I can play without my providers signal or wi-fi. Thanks in advance

Hmm, not sure about that. Just go to your Market app and see if there is a Movies category.

If there is no such kind of things, why don't just rip videos from DVD or download movies from websites on computer then transfer to your android phones.

No - just downloading movies from the internet is copyright infringement and our site can have no part in discussing that.

Get the NetFlix app all you can watch for $9. a month. You will stream the movies or TV shows so you will need good signal as you travel on your trip.

C'mon guys, read his post - streaming options are no good to him.

I'd go with some of the earlier advice - just buy them on DVD/blu-ray etc and then rip them and save them to the phone. No data or hassles.
