You are starting with Episode 4, right??

LOL, this reminded me of an episode of Chuck where Casey tells Morgan (who has lost some of his memory) that he should start with Episode 1...it's everyone's favorite.

Later in the episode Morgan says, really, I liked that? LOL.

Another great moment in that episode is where Casey gave Morgan the trilogy of Indiana Jones and Morgan goes, "three movies huh?" And Casey says, "Yep, they only made three." :)

Racked an all grain clone of Moylen's Kiltlifter Scotch Ale last night. Hopefully bottling in a couple of weeks. The sample was delicious. OG 1.064 so it will have a bit of kick. :D

My keezer currently has the following...

10 gallons American Wheat (similar to OD Easy Street but used Wyeast 1056 instead of Kolsh yeast)

5 gallons IPA (Dale's Pale Ale Clone except 7.58%)

10 gallons Hoppy Lager (SA Noble Pills Clone)

Saw that, too. That was funny.

I know the prequels get a bad rap, but I thought Episode III was excellent.

OK, coming out of lurking mode again...

So I read your guys' convo a bunch of pages back. I'm curious as to why everyone who expressed an opinion said that a star wars virgin definitely has to start with episode 4. I'm not convinced that he/she should start with episode 1 or 4; I think it can go either way - sequence of release or chronological order.

It reminds me of the godfather trilogy. I've been told there is a version of the trilogy that is in chronological order but I haven't seen it. I would think GII has a totally different feel without the flashbacks to Vito's childhood.

1056 great all around yeast....AAII you should give a try....A lil more complex but still fairly clean.

In our Pils you use straight Saaz? Love all noble hops which goes against the NW style where I am. Everything seems to be about high AA...I like my hops more mellow.

Because finding out Darth Vadar is Luke's father is no longer a shock/surprise. Although with Pop culture, I doubt it would have a shocking effect anymore.

The story was told 4-6 -- most people believe 1-3 simply compliment and fill in gaps from the original story (or atleast thats one of the nicer things said about the prequels)

My favorite hoppy beers include a lot of late editions to the boil. I think it gives a nice hoppy taste but doesn't make the hop flavor to overwhelming. Given the prices of hops I know this is not always practical in retail.

I agree it could go either way, but that's not the way we had it back in my day LOL (insert old geezer voice).

Besides, if they had released Epsiode 1 first, I seriously doubt it would have had the same effect as 4 did on the populace. Let's face it, 1 is pretty long, drawn out, and kinda blah.

4, while not perfect, completely captured a great story in a single movie. Combine that with (at the time) eye-popping visuals that STILL look good today, and you have an all time classic.

I vote for theatrical release order. And am still shocked that BB has not seen ANY of them!?!

III was awesome. Just when I thought Lucas had completely lost his mind (along with his ability to edit out horrendous dialogue), he redeemed himself. One was pretty terrible. Two was better in that it provided the groundwork for the political coup beautifully executed by Sidius... and excellent battle scenes. But that said, I still want to throw a heavy object at my TV during any dialogue between Padme and Anakin!

Internally the current status is that there will be one, however there is talk of making it sale-only. There is a pre-order date set at this time but seeing as how it is not confirmed if it will go through I do not want to release it to prevent any confusion or disappointment.

Oh come on...this thread lives for the disappointment! :D

Beer Talk!
I've been looking into starting home brewing, nothing major, just a batch at a time. I'm always on the hunt for a new craft brew, and wanted to give making my own a shot. Where's a good place to start? Mr. Beer seems to be big, but I see a lot of reviews trashing it. I'm assuming those are established brewers that do everything on their own. Is Mr. Beer a solid jumping off point to get the basics down, or is there a better route to go? Thanks!
