thicker GNEX on Verizon ?

I would say it is a mixture of both LTE and the battery. If it was just the LTE, why is Moto able to get the razr so thin? And Samsung only said the LTE version will be thicker. They didnt say why.

From what I heard, its because Moto made their own in house LTE radio for it. Plus the Razr is pretty damn wide, so everything was mashed out there and in the hump.

That is incorrect. The thickness increase is due to the LTE antenna. The battery has a higher capacity...but I don't know that it affects the size but I do know Samsung has said it will be thicker due to the LTE antenna.

The bigger battery is there because LTE uses significantly more power than GSM or CDMA. That is the only reason they would say the device is thicker because of LTE; the device is thicker because it has a bigger battery because it has LTE.

The Droid Bionic and the Droid Razr have exactly the same LTE radios. The difference in thickness was done at the design level of the device, it has nothing to do with the radios themselves.

I don't see any point thickening the the Gnex on Verizon. LTE antenna should not occupy extra thickness from my research. If it's not larger battery, why would they?
hmm....just gotta wait and see.
I really really badly hope the monster battery rumor on Gnex on Verizon was true T..T

I wouldn't say monster batter, but I believe Google is the one who said during their annoucement that the LTE version had a bigger battery. I think they both will last roughly the same time.
