Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

I Just wanted to say that this update is great!I really love the new lockscreen and native wi-fi tether worked with both my laptop and Ipod touch! The same goes for the latest cm7 update and all of your work Tickerguy and Isaac!

What changed in the lockscreen? So far, I haven't seen any differences in MIUI lockscreen 2.0 compared to what we had before.

Check out the last fifteen or so pages of this thread. There is the possibility for weather now; several things have been added, like the ability to rotate elements; If you check the first post, you'll see a link to the manifest, which has more details :)

Question.. How do i remove the contacts app from my dock/ home screen.. i can just go into dialer if i want.. i dont need it there..

it wont let me remove a system app

Like goshjosh said you can use titanium to remove the app or you can just move it off the dock, hold on the icon and move it off the dock like you would move any other app.

how do you get lockscreen weather?

You need an ls theme that has it coded in - check out the last few posts here. This main question thread on miui ls has this post and other things about coding the widget in. If there is a particular theme you like, and you'd like to see weather added in to it, just ask at the main thread forum and I'm sure someone (maybe myself when I'm done with exams) will try and accomodate :)

Amazing work on this MIUI, Isaac....
I know you're probably tired of hearing this already, all this CarrierIQ and all, but, under your disclaimer on page 1, you had mentioned:
""The fact that this ROM is closed-source has unnerved some people in the Android community (for good reason). These things are something to consider. I have yet to find anything malicious in MIUI (neither has anyone else in the Android community), but if it were me, I would be careful with my sensitive data.""
Just wondered if you would ever think that MIUI would have something buried deep, or just as a light precaution of what could be there?
Just curious!;)

I love the new ROM, I like the screen settings better than anything. So far the only problem I had with the new ROM is that I could not connect my computer or my ipod or my acer iconia using wifi tethering. Then I change the name of the SSID to something else and I took the security and I was able to connect all three, however the SSID that all three were seen is the default AndroidAP, does that happen to someone else?

Love everything else.

Hey guys, I just installed the latest version on my Triumph, and I must say I like it. I added the newest mock kernel, and it seems to be quite smooth.

When I go into the screen where it shows free RAM/used RAM, it only adds up to something like 320 something as opposed to 512. Is this normal?

Is this because of the HD-Fix allocating a certain amount of memory for the GPU, or is there something wrong going on somewhere here?

Themes for MIUI aren't device specific are they? I tried flashing this in Clockwork, but I'm getting "Installation aborted."

Themes are not device specific.
You do not flash themes - you simply upload them to your sd card and choose them from the miui theme manager (an app, default icons is tuxedo or colored pencil, can't remember atm).
sdcard/miui/themes
:)

Oh hahah that's embarrassing. I have tons of themes I've found online in that folder, didn't occur to put the lockscreen theme in there too. Thanks!

Yes. This is fairly normal. Originally, you should be sitting at around 340 megs of RAM. However, the "HD-Fix" will take away about 20-30 megs.
