As far as the hide tags are concerned, I'll all for it, but can we maybe do a quick two-word description above the tag or something?

So if I see this:

TV stuff:

I like Pam from the Office! She's hot!

, I'll know I want to click on it.

If I see this:

WNBA stuff:

The WNBA is so cool!

, I'll just pass on.

Just my zero point two cents.

I also thought Super Man was as deep as a teaspoon, not much to him. I mean there is the whole internal struggle of being string enough to instantly kill most people he comes in contact with and not doing it. But come on he still does the under wear on the outside thing ;p

I hope you are right, i have been an bit disappointed with my gs2 I don't think i am going to be keeping it, right now gps is worse then my captivate. My captivate gps is pretty hit and miss its only accurate to about 45 feet on an good day. GS2 is like 150 ft plus, navigation is unusable... I thought samsung would have fixed this issue by now, but i guess why would they when they are selling so many devices already...

Which I never quite understood Googles thinking on this. .x.y where x is usually some feature based upgrades and .y is usually bug fixes in most I.S. worlds no quite sure why they make new names for .x Maybe they are changing the silliness because of finite dessert names.

I forgot the link but saw yesterday that Moto is soon coming out with Razr Max. It's basically the Razr with HD screen instead of qHD. At this rate, I can see that current Razr folks will be pissed off early next year like Razr did to Bionic.

My friends and I used to have a discussion as to which we would prefer: free tickets to a WNBA game or find a dime on the street. I believe everyone took the dime.

I would say that if at his most angry, like in World War Hulk, nobody is stronger than The Hulk. The one exception could be The Sentry, who many would argue isn't even a "real" super hero.

True, but you will not find a photographer semi-pro or pro who considers a 50mm f2.8 lens fast as your depth of field is going to be deeper the wider your lens is at all constant apertures. That's the reason a 300mm 2.8 is fast and 50 2.8 is not. Think of it this way -- if we are talking about the amount of light entering the lens and it's ability to allow the photographer to hold the lens steady you have the "rule" that at iso 100 take xmm lens and you must have a maximum shutter speed of 1/x to have a sharp image, so for a 50mm lens you need a shutter speed of 1/50 (or more like 1/60s since 1/50s is hard to do on most cameras), now for a longer lens like that 300 you need 1/300s to have a sharp shot which can be difficult to do in less than bright conditions, having a larger aperture allows you to do this more easily, with the 50mm you need 1/50 which is much less difficult to do and would easily be accomplished by f2.8. They don't even make prime 50mm lenses with a maximum aperture of 2.8. When we talk about a fast lens, we're talking about the amount of light let in in a given time so, no, again a prime 50mm f2.8 lens is not fast.

Yeah, Superman is a total flake. Too goody goody.

But I always thought the stupidest thing was that these superheroes hardly ever actually kill anyone. They just Mickey-Mouse and dance around the bad guys, tangling them up in spiderwebs or hanging them upside down for the cops to find. What does that lead to? They'll just be out in 24 hours doing the same thing again, idiots!

My brother (huge comic book geek, although he prefers the term "graphic novels" so that he doesn't appear to be lame, but rather a studious person) says that it's a role model situation, to show kids that killing is wrong, even for law enforcement types.

Please. If super heroes are supposed to be used by kids as models, aren't you afraid of these same kids dressing up with their Hanes over their pants, trying to karate kick a mugger and getting shot in the face for their trouble?

leaks galore, the 8th is looking good! it didn't take me nearly as long to catch up this morning with all the hide tags, but reading through the posts was a lot less entertaining.

i personally miss the off topic posts/pictures. it's what made this thread fun, and it's what makes this forum, as a whole, differ from all the rest. clicking show 20 times per page gets old fast.

Wouldn't it have made sense for the battery charger to also charge the phone, since it is a holder as well? Seems like not the best design idea.

Also... doesn't it seem like better to use the landscape dock with the side prongs... vs. the portrait with the USB (which can wear out)?
